STAGE 7 : BARCELONE - ANDORRE ARCALIS
First mountain stage!Today the favorites will dominate this race
Today´s breakaway
First serious attacks came from Moncoutie,Vande Velde and Valjavec
But they were caught by the pack especially by Astana very soon
Contador makes his move and this is an unbelievable attack...so strong and powerfull!
Sastre and Andy Schleck go after him but the gap is already big
Karpets and Petrov try to follow them but it´s very hard
Next attacks come from Samuel Sanchez,Evans and Kreuziger
Rogers starts a counter attack;Karpets and Petrov are searching for their energy
5 km to go ...that means 5km hard climbing and this is the second chasing group.Contador is still in front of Sastre and A.Schleck
He´s alone without competition!
Behind Alberto,Sastre starts another attack and it seems to be successful.Andy Schleck has to fight
Karpets gets the connection to the second chasing group with Evans,Sanchez,Frank Schleck,Leipheimer and many others
Evans makes the next move.He doesn´t want to loose so many seconds
Alberto Contador shows us today why he was the big favorite for the Tour win.He takes the stage win and he can extend his advantage in the overall
Behind the sprint begins and Sastre seems to be the better one.Andy Schleck will take the white jersey!
Sastre managed to become 2nd ;A.Schleck takes the last place on the podium
Evans becomes 4th.........and....
.....Kreuziger is 5th.Great result for him!
Here comes the group with Karpets and they sprint for the 6th place
Leipheimer won this sprint in front of Fränk Schleck.Karpets becomes 9th.Good result...isn´t it?

STAGE 8 : ANDORRE-LA-VIEILLE - SAINT-GIRONS

Evans was the first one who made his move on the last climb with more than 40 km to go
Kreuziger,Pereiro and Vande Velde went after him
Contador and Roger started another attack
Karpets and Andy Schleck tried to follow the man in yellow

STAGE 9 : SAINT-GAUDENS - TARBES
Next mountain stage but like the last stage this will not decide about the overall
There are 5 riders in the breakaway
After the last climb a bigger group was built where all favorites stayed in.
Samuel Sanchez makes a move 6km before the finish line
Jens Voigt goes after him!
But he´s not the only one,Di Gregorio and Karpets make another move
Last km for Samuel Sanchez and Voigt who became only second in the last stage.I´m sure he wants the stage win today
Behind: Karpets and Di Gregorio sprint for the 3rd place but behind them "The Astana Wall" comes already
The German gets it!Voigt takes the 9th stage in front of Samuel Sanchez and....
....It´s a close final but Karpets seems to be the strongest there
And he takes the third place.Again great result for Vladimir!

1 | Jens Voigt | Team Saxo Bank | 4h19'21 | 2 | Samuel Sánchez | Euskaltel - Euskadi | s.t. | 3 | Vladimir Karpets | Team Katusha | + 41 | 4 | Andreas Klöden | Astana Cycling Team | s.t. | 5 | Levi Leipheimer | Astana Cycling Team | s.t. | 6 | Rémy Di Gregorio | Française des Jeux | s.t. | 7 | Lance Armstrong | Astana Cycling Team | s.t. | 8 | Andy Schleck | Team Saxo Bank | s.t. | 9 | Bradley Wiggins | Garmin - Slipstream | s.t. | 10 | Yaroslav Popovych | Astana Cycling Team | s.t. | 11 | Alberto Contador | Astana Cycling Team | s.t. | 12 | Evgeni Petrov | Team Katusha | s.t. | 13 | Amets Txurruka | Euskaltel - Euskadi | s.t. | 14 | Sébastien Joly | Française des Jeux | s.t. | 15 | Robert Gesink | Rabobank | s.t. |

I'm from Holland so I don't exactly know what it means, probably something like high risks, high wins?
