It is kind of weird that Valverde is racing in an ASO race. Looks like he's going to be welcome at LBL.
He really does seem to be untouchable.
His problems are with the Italians. But yes I thought that ASO are more exclusive that this.
Can't help remembering back a couple of years ago when Basso was riding for Disco. ASO wouldn't have him in the race - and he was more in the clear at that time than Piti is now. |

few forum members call this as Frensh vendetta against US..Landis..Disco (I like that synonym )..Armstrong ..oher US cycling teams..frensh-freedom fries story.. etc..etc.
as cycling press like to act they will crucify some big name this year..as they have done every year..just waiting a moment |

yes, he'll start in L-B-L. According to rabobank's site he's done a 4 houres intensive training today, and it didnt give him any problems with his knee. |

yeah, me too. 250k+ is different then 4 houres of training, but I really hope he can go for a podium again. It seems though that Rebellin, Valverde and co are finally ready as well, so it's going to be difficult for him, not being that explosive and all. but we'll see, if he's got a good day anything is possible. |

I just doubt that he has the sprint for it
It's gonna be Valverde or Rebellin for me

No. I don't think Rebellin will be even close to victory.
