Best I got was 5 days in London. Portuguese schools don't have the money to plan those kind of trips. We are too far from anything that is actually worth seeing. Because, let's face it, Portugal and Spain are very similar. Coruña is the spitting image of Porto (or vice-versa) for example.
Even when I went to London I had to pay 700€+~200€ to spend there, and this is not counting the discounts the school got from the Hotel management, etc. Right now, in your class, how many of your mates (or their parents) would be willing to pay that much for a trip?
But hey, why don't we (portuguese guys at pcm daily) all go on holiday together? But issoisso's paying because he's the only one who actually works
Edit: Getting back on topic, enjoy Justin and Crommy

Talking about trips, I rejected going in one to Andorra (Pas de la Casa) for 400€ plus the money to spend there...I prefer to save it to some economic trouble during university.
And I expect to going to London soon. My aunt lives there (works there for more than 30 years and all the people in the family, except me, has gone there at least one week. She always pay the plane ticket. )

I want to go to Portugal on Summer Vac., but the hotels just look .. well, below the standards that I want. I'm sure there's lots of great hotels, but I guess they've all been booked by the German travel agencies |

It's worth it. DO NOT miss the chance to go to São Rafael's beach. The best I've ever saw/had been/whatever...

Two years ago, I went to Albufeira with my parents and they rent a house next to S. Rafael's beach. That vacations were the best I had with my parents.
Albufeira is a very nice place to be, but if you, Crue, have high standarts you should to Vilamoura. |

I don't have particularly high standards. I'm sure there's something in Albufeira for me
Marco: I've been to Miami Beach. I doubt that anything will manage to 'beat' that |

I have good references of Hotel Montechoro, a friend of mine was there and liked I lot and I was also at Balaia Golf Village. I advise you to google these two. |

Just came back from Helsinki, Finland (Where I visited Espoo a few times aswell) and I think I sort of fell in love with a country/city. Helsinki was simply amazing, the weather and the temperatures didnt even bother me at all, everything about it was just so much better than here And while you mainly hear bad things about Fins, I actually met nice Finnish people, the ppl at the school in Espoo with whom we had to do assignments troughout the week were all so nice, especially the girls... (gotta love Scandinavians, ok they aren't really Scandinavian but I've always learned that Finland = Scandinavia)
in the end I even heard that alot of those girls liked me, they all thought I was the most popular boy in school or something like that Which I am not Time to move to Finland so I can get meself a girlfriend aswell
