So I'm using v2.1(.1) where the skin bug exists, while the updated version v2.1(.2) has fixed it?

Hi. I guess nobody read my post, so I'm posting it again:
Hi. I've found a bug in the database. The KOM awards aren't working to improve the sponsor confidence (i.e. they don't get happy for holding or winning the KOM shirt). Even worse; in my new season with Colombia es Pasión, one of the sponsor's goals was to get the KOM in La vuelta al Táchira. I've managed to do it; nevertheless, it appears as a failed goal. This is kind of annoying, because another goals are to get a wildcard for La vuelta a España (are they kidding?), win the Colombian TT (wtf!!! my best TT rider has 69 TT rating!) and a top 5 in the Klasika Primavera (yeah, right, I'm going to beat Cunego, Valverde and all the bunch of pro riders with Duarte). So I guess I will be fired... It would be nice to fix that KOM problem.
On the other hand, thanks for the great job, you guys. I'm just posting this because I'd like to have an even better DB, but it's amazing anyways. |

2nd season and some riders have contracts wages of zero.And others, like Perget(Caisse) have wages like they are the team leaders(40.000€).Any ideas?

Ildabaoth, I think the goal thing is something Crue is/will be looking into.
Also, feel free to post what you think would be good goals for this team and they may be altered that way for v3.

I don't know about this is a bug. But when I add the "one texture per rider" it doesn't work correctly. Instead it have been a kind of "one texture per team". For example have all Rabobank riders nr 12... Have I done anything wrong, is this a bug in the DB? Have other of you the same "problem"?

thats the standard pcm setting. All teams have the same texture.
Are you sure one texture per rider is activated?
(i'm not having this problem, most riders have the unique faces etc.)

It happens in my career with Rock Racing too. The rider with the longest name somtimes gets another name.

I don't know if this belongs here or elsewhere, but I encountered a rather curious bug, when playing as Liquigas. At the end of the 2010 season I was give a rather large amount to spend on wages.
I thought, "fair play, I did win the tour and come second in La Vuelta." So I signed af few hight profile riders. Then the new season comes along and I find out why I had so much room for wages. When I wanted to renew Ivan Bassos contract his salary was 6000 pr. month!
I am certain it used to be at 100000, but somehow it had changed to that. Now of course I haven't the money to renew basso as he is asking for 110000 pr. month. Wierd bug I think. |

Here's the solution:
Edit your savegame with Hannes Converter or Full Editor.
In STA_race table:
In ID_country column enter "1" in rows of races with ID 175 and 248.
In STA_stage table:
Copy values from rows of stages with ID 2051 and 1980 from db-file (OfficialRelease.cdb ) and paste them into the same rows in STA_stage in your savegame.
I've downloaded the editor but I'm no wiser about how to use it to repair my WC 2011 bug. Editor stops working when i try to open saved game.
Could somebody elaborate, please?

Advanced Editor isn't the best to use with save games. Use Hannes Converter for that instead. |

downloaded the converter. no instructions - can't find save game - constant error messages. generally, getting nowhere! |

Open it. Click the large plug icon and find your save game in My Documents/Pro Cycling Manager/Database/Solo/OfficialRelease.
When prompted, load up STA_race and STA_stage and follow Adams' instructions.
Remember to click save when done.
Click the large disc icon when you're done. Select the two tables that you've edited and click save. |

ok. i've opened db with converter, changed STA_race values to 1. i select save and '40/40' appears in a box. now what?
Where exactly am i supposed to be copying the stage values from?
Sorry if you're finding it painful to help me but this is equally frustrating for me. |
