Although I am passionate for Belgian cycling, Coppi (probably) had some of his best years taken by the war. |

I read Michele Bartoli is considering a comeback, he's been training with Basso and Petacchi and says he still has good legs and can make life difficult for them.
And if his wife wont object he might make a comeback.
weird stuff |

Next will be Eddy Merckx returning into cycling!
Joaquim Agostinho is also thinking in coming back from the dead!

Funny you'd mention. The code names for many riders in Fuentes' list were the names of the riders' dogs.
Bartoli's dog is named "Sansone".
The name "Sansone" is on the list leaked to the press....
Take your own conclusions
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified

3 Cecco riders training together... "Cecco is a good friend of mine" said Fuentes, yeah, that makes sense... |

You gotta be joking about Bartoli making a comeback.
Great rider - but clearly finished as a force when he retired. |

Now cyclingnews is saying Bartoli might come back, also Katuysha (or however it is spelled) had their team presentation, and Putin was a guest of honor. |

If Bartoli really is coming back, is there any rumours about which teams that are interested? |

He says he has had some talks with teams unofficially, I didn't see which though |

A bit like the good old times when the Eastern block faced the Western block...
I can't see this as a good thing.

Director Jacob Kohnstam from the college of person data protection (in dutch College Bescherming Persoonsgegevens) said the anti-doping rules of WADA are in conflict with the European guidelines for privacy. Kohnstam said top athletes can file a complaint and then he can do "an verdict which is binding"
According to the rules of the WADA a top athlete has to be avalaible for doping controles 365 days a year and has to give his whereabouts at all times. According to Kohnstam WADA "has a tunnel vision". "Even basic civil rights are being ignored for the battle against doping. It gives Eastern-European like situations from before the fall of the Berlin wall"

I say it's predictable this would happen sometime. Certainly now they asked football players to give whhereabouts, they storm of protest has begun.
As you can see, other sports aren't so willing to stop their doping schemes and schedule. And now they are searching help from all corners |
