Spanish RR Championship
No need to go over the favourites so..
The breakaway had Romero's presence
But they were caught in the start of the final climb
Where the first attacks began!
Barredo was off and Valverde too!
As Vicioso was trying to keep Cobo's wheel
Later on the climb Valverde created a gap! In his pursuit was S Sanchez, LL Sanchez, Barredo and Cobo. Vicioso didn't mangage to slip onto the group
...so Zaballa was our best man. He was only after Contador who was on the chase of Cobo group!
In the downhill 2 more members of Scott entered the chasing group: Gomez Marchante and Astarloa!
When they met the flat Cobo and Barredo went after Valverde!
Whom they passed later...
So in the final kms they were all alone. Barredo had Cobo's wheel...
...Then the Scott leader launched the sprint...
...1.0km to the end and Barredo was taking the lead...
...which he conserved till the end!! He is now the new spanish champion!!
Marchante finished 3rd
And Zaballa, our best man was 10th! A reasonable achievment

Scott - American Beef is no more!
After JJ Cobo and the team directors promoted that silly argument the breakup between the two parts happened to be confirmed. That's when the riders of the team started to offer their services on ebay in order to compete in The Grand Boucle
However when Mr. Fuji a great fan of cycling and owner of a bike manufactoring company noticed these hapenings he imediateli phoned is long-time pal Mr.Sevetto so that they could replace the former sponsors of the team and stop all this nonsense. Imediately Cobo was tested to find any kind of patology capable of impeding the wearing of a blue uniform, scenery that fortunately was not confirmed! The team presentation then took place some days later with all the former riders of Scott - American Beef!
So ladies and gentlemen give all your best applause for the newest team of the Pro Tour: Fuji - Servetto!!

German RR Championship
A race for Weggman or Voigt perhaps
Ciolek was in the breakaway.
...but they got caught when Knees and Burghardt started to attack!
Kloden took Keinath and Martens wheels!
Only after them Voigt, Weggman and M.Fothen decided to take part in the front group...
Meanwhile Dominik Roels transformed into pudding with the help of the broom car!
At the front it was time for the last attacks... Kloden had to wait for the final hill!
But he was still able to integrate the front trio: Fothen, Kloden and Martens!
Fothen launched the sprint...
But Martens was stronger than him!
And none of other 2 had the capacity to compete with him! The German Championship lies now with Rabobank!
Classification
1 Paul Martens Rabobank 4h39'47
2 Markus Fothen Gerolsteiner s.t.
3 Andreas Klöden LA - MSS - Póvoa de Varzím s.t.
4 Fabian Wegmann Team CSC Saxo Bank s.t.
5 Alexander Gottfried Tinkoff Credit Systems s.t.
6 Christian Knees Team Milram s.t.
7 Jens Voigt Team Columbia + 1'15
8 Marcus Burghardt Team Columbia s.t.
9 Nico Keinath Landbouwkrediet - Tönissteiner s.t.
10 Marcel Sieberg Team Columbia + 2'02

Italian RR Championship
Lots of favourites today
Ballan punches the pack with Bettini on his tail
As Pozzato does the same in the descent
Cunego also places himself ahead of the bunch in the final flat section
Joining Bettini and Pozzato...
But Ballan has already gone away, so Cunego doesnt cooperate
Last ride through the hill and is now Di Luca's turn to attack
But he cannot recover the delay to the front men
Ballan enters the final km
and confirms his expected victory
while Pozzato beats Cunego to take the 2nd place... Bettini just couldnt deal with them...
Di Luca finishes 5th and loses his title...
Classification
1 Alessandro Ballan Lampre 6h32'03
2 Filippo Pozzato Liquigas + 1'09
3 Damiano Cunego Lampre s.t.
4 Paolo Bettini Team Columbia s.t.
