brun, it's not about that. It's about making Benfica win everything. Every year, every sport, they make up something so that Benfica will win.
Surely you know about so many portuguese clubs (like Porto) being investigated for corruption. Guess what......THERE'S NO EVIDENCE OF ANYTHING....that's the reason why Porto were cleared, along with others.
Here in cycling it's the same thing. There's no doubt in my mind LA MSS are not a clean team, but the fact of the matter is....the whole police raid months ago was done to get them out of the Volta a Portugal so that Benfica could win it.
And since NOTHING was found in those raids (which they refuse to admit), they had to resort to this to shove attention away from the fact.
It happens every year in most sports over here, always because of Benfica. And one my bigger joys in life is that despite that, Benfica's sports teams always fuck it up some way or another and never win.
I wonder what it'll be next year. Maybe they'll go back to suddenly suspending Porto's key players 2 days before Porto-Benfica games for small fouls they committed 10 months earlier, like they did in the Mourinho days.
Laughed my ass off.
I love your comments on international cycling but when is the subject is football clubs you're hilarious, I'm really looking forward to see more conspiracy theories about Benfica.

Saying "that's hilarious" is bullshit. If you want to counter-argument, say something. Just saying someone is wrong is worthless if you can't back it up with facts
So until you present any semblance of logic, I'll be quite happy with my own view that the usual suspensions, investigations, etc. into anything and anyone that goes up against benfica are more than just a huge coincidence.

Curious...since that year, the exact opposite happened to Benfica players before Porto-Benfica games, and, guess what...the same with Sporting-Benfica games. And it's not that far...just look at this year's games, some weeks ago.B)

When i read this i can't think of anything else but "hilarious":

The only thing i find worthless it's starting a endless discussion with someone who makes such statement.
So you put down what someone says and don't justify it, eh? That's great logic
Anyone can do that. Anyone can say "You're wrong because I say so". It's actually presenting some shred of evidence or argument that I'd give you credit for.
Nuno Gomes (the year after he scored 2 against Porto, which makes the subject even more curious), Miccoli (2 times, I think), Luisão, etc...
Now, for the foreign people over here, just compare this 2 videos over here:
So, some weeks ago, Benfica-Porto, Luisão (centre-back from Benfica) allegadly (mispelled this word, I think) "attacked" Sapunaru (Porto's right-back), as you can see in this video:
No yellow or red card was shown, but after the game Luisão was suspended for 2 games, missing the game against Sporting (2 weeks and matchdays later, which is very curious).
A similar thing happened between Rodriguez and Nuno Gomes, being Rodriguez the offender, and guess what, everybody above Vouga River says that they didn't see something like that.
By the way, I found a video of that too:
One week later, Porto-Sporting, and Porto's Tomás Costa, already with a yellor card, did one thing you can see near the end of this video:
By the stupid law we have year, made to favour some clubs and f*** others, a player with the yellow card cannot be suspended for another thing he did in the game, so, no suspension. But wait, the scary foul was still there...
Basically, in portuguese championship, thing like these happen every single week, every single matchday. Porto supporters find agressions from Benfica players, Benfica supporters find agressions from Porto players, and Sporting fans consider themselves a gang of poor little bastards with everybody against them, being robbed against the minor clubs, but getting invisible penalties against the other big clubs.
edit: Just one more video to prove my point:
As you can see, inside the penalty area. Doesn't hit the ball, only Di Maria's foot. The referee pretended he didn't see shit.

OMFG, you got to be kidding me... Rodriguez deserves a suspension for that?! Too bad you don't talk about R.Amorim elbow to the face in that same match. Exactly like Sapunaru's challenge on Leo, except one was a foul+yellow and the other was, well, nothing for the ref...
Oh, and about Nuno Gomes, are you talking about the time when he deliberately signalled to the cameras that Braga's players were dopers and only got a 750€ fine? Or don't you remember that one...
PS: I think we are swerving way off-topic here. If you want to continue, reply in the football thread.

Do i REALLY have to justify?
You said that "Every year, every sport, they make up something so that Benfica will win."
More important than that, you implied that somehow the police was sent to raid installations of a cycling team in order allow other to perform well during a race.

This is one of those things where the situation is so obvious no one can possibly be biased enough to deny it......and then you come along.

Milram will now also start using Rasmus Damsgaard in the future. He'll be a backup specialist to whom they can send suspicious tests. If he thinks that they are too suspicious, the riders can be fired.
"We all know that wasn't the real footage of the Worlds anyway. That was just the staged footage to perpetuate the coverup that it was actually Vinokourov that won the race."

Damsgaard now working with three teams! Aren't there any other blood profiling experts in this world?
