Cyclingnews' report on it is a bit confusing since its not very clear but Im pretty sure he is still only a Stagiare at the moment. After all, why would a team sign a rider as a stagiare and then give him a pro contract before he has even ridden once for them?
well, he did ride with them before. He did the training camp in January along with Bochman and some random spanish guy.
The spanish guy got a "don't call us, we'll call you", Bellis got the promise to ride the Tour of Britain as a stagiaire and Bochman got a contract on the spot (only to get injured almost immediately and be out for months).
A few weeks ago the team confirmed the lineup for the Tour of Britain and it included Bellis. That's the last I heard.

My point is that he rode with the team, and thus they know how good he is, which is the main factor in handing out a contract. It's why Bochman got a contract despite the team not having vacancies: he proved to just be way too good.

Well my point was that they wouldnt have changed their stance of a couple of weeks ago when he hasnt had any races with them at all in that period.

Bellis only signed a 1-week (or month?) stagiare contract. End of discussion
Tinkoff has signed a couple of good riders, I see. If they don't sign any other captains, I suppose Sastre will go there, make a hell lot of money and then retire
Also, along with Slipstream, Team Columbia has now also said that they are interested in Alex Rasmussen. |

yesterday in austrian TV: insider informations point towards a transfer of Bernhard Kohl to Katyusha.. and i heard something about +3 Million salary ... but that HAS to be for a multiyear contract and even then its a lot imho

that would surprise me a lot. why? because he said the team would be a surprise and Katyusha is no surprise at all...
(I know, it's weird, but I'm not joking)

don't forget, austrian TV (ORF) knows squad about cycling, they just talked about his speaking dutch/flemish and therefore QS / SL / Rab would be favorites... for them katyusha would be a big surprise and kohl knows that, therefore he said it will be a surprise
i had much fun this year with austrian TV broadcasting the mountain stages of the tour...
the co commentator (zadrobilek, an ex-world class rider, who won san sebastian) kept interchanging Valverde and Vandevelde ALL the time... they butcher foreign names (caveeeendish ect....) and most of the times get the riders weaknesses/strenths wrong
so think about it like kohl talked to a bunch of kindergarten kids......

With the money from Specialized, Riis now has what he needs. He has stated that Sastre's wage isn't the problem, but Sastre's role on the team in the future is what's up to discussion. |

I also belive ..that Riis is bluffing at this moment..Of corse he would like a keep Sastre. But probably sastre knows and Riis knows ..this TdF win was last show from him with the CSC jersey.
Sastre as third captain and main helper..Sastre wont be happy with this anymore. |

I get the idea Wiggins is looking for something he's not finding. And it scares me.
