i haven't got a disc before but the manual says you only need the disc in every 3 days, however i always need the disc. Has this ever happen before

My game will come on next friday, but as I'm on vacation the postman, will take the letter/package with to the postoffice if there isn't anybody to sign for it, and if the postoffice is closed on saturday then I can't get my game untill monday in a week.
