According to his team, he woke up with fever and stomach problems.
according to the sporza commentators, he had been on the toilet whole night being sick. |

Because he's finish and nobody likes any of them. they're all racist
(see, the joke is in the irony of what I just said...)

His DS said he's going for a top 5+ a stage, so it must've been the legs...

didnt contador lose less than them, and he has been sunning himself up all holiday, i wouldnt be surprised if his big belly made him crack when we come to the tough mountains.
Part of me thinks that a lot of people didnt really prepare for the Giro, TDF anyone?

That was a great result by him indeed. But, I'm not that surprised to be honest. He has been showing some potential in lots of races the last year, including last year's Giro. Too bad he hasn't lasted to the finish-line, but he is coming closer and closer to a nice success |

Yeah i wouldn't rule them out, just because they weren't gunning for todays stage win doesn't put them out of the running yet. Though i am starting to doubt it considering Mazzanti was up there. But i don't know why he'd be team leader over Petrov when he'll lose about 5 minutes every 20km of time trialing to the good GCers. But again, Petrov hasn't gone for any GC this year in any races he's been in, so maybe Vuelta is on the cards? And maybe tour is for Soler and Karpets?

Soler fell yesterday and might have a fracture in his hand. we'll know at the end of the day whether that's the case. If it is, he'll likely abandon, as it's very painful.
