Wouldn't be surprised if Trek made an appeal against the Meersman victory after that move in the last victory. Not sure if justified or not, but at least I think they could try.
They shouldn't and it shouldn't be succesfull. But ridiclous decisions like Sunday have made it possible indeed.
Yeah I agree in this case (didn't watch Sunday so can't judge). Was a clear move to the left, but to disqualify in this case would be a severe overreaction, especially since this caused no danger at all.

Quintana
In this essay I will tell why Quintana is a bad rider and I don't like him.
He has low IQs.
Bad leaderships.
Bad tactics.
Bad time-trials.
Bad crosswinds.
Bad desserts.
Bad flats.
Bad pills.
Bad performs in mountains where there is most us... whatever that means.
Overall he is SHIT. Overrated and teams overrated. Valverde a bit betters.

Bones heal by themselves. Teeth don't heal. When you break them, it's permanent, any dental fix is in the end artificial. I'd take a broken collarbone over broken teeth any day.
I agree with you, from experience, since I had a bad accident with my bike 6 years ago, broke my teeth and I am still without them, waiting for the good time to fix them... Life :/

So far even on the official Vuelta page it doesn't seem like riders got same time due to the crashes. Valverde has the jersey now, and Contador is 3:23 behind |

Yep, just saw it myself. Would have been a poor decision if they had kept Valverde as leader + the timeloss for Contador. |

Just watched the stage.
Gianni you beautiful bastard. Very nice!
Also Steven Krujijijswijijk. Doesn't look good.

Yes, within the last km's I don't think it would ever count with more than 2/3 of riders losing minutes.

still the likes of Yates, Latour and Anton with bigger timelosses...were they deserved? (honest question, as I wasn't able to watch the race)

I think they are still in the process of making the result, it is impossible that Anton coming in as 39 gets a worse time than nr. 40 ( check the total times)

It is absolutely possible, when the 40th was in the winner group until a crash within 3k to go while the 39th came to the finish behind that group and already was behind when the crash happened.
That said, I doubt this was the case here.

Correct
Did not think about that, and in this case with Cort, Anton, Yates it seems very unlikely

Wait for the day when a Spanish rider loses the Vuelta because of that and then you'll see...
We can be self-absorbed just like that... |

Oh boy, Kruiswijk is really a cursed man. Hope he'll recover fast, Giro Centesimo is needs you.

Kruiswijk was never really gonna do anything in this race anyways. I've always maintained that he wouldn't be for any use this Vuelta, the race simply isn't suited for him - hot weather and muritos. On top of that, he apparently caught some sickness after Rio (dno if true, he was also shitty in Rio).
Kruiswijk is a Giro-man. It obviously sucks tho. |

I think Riis meant his crash sucked, not the fact that Kruijswijk focuses or should focus on the Giro.
