I said that if they ride the TDF well, a protour tour card could be theirs for next season. It initially had a typo, which I think is what led to this |

I saw it before he edited that in.

But it is very prestigious, and will allow them to sign even better riders than they have now (sorry Zabriskie, Millar, and Maggie, you guys are great, but not that good) |

Maaskant was dead as he crossed the line, what a great ride by him. A well-named "slipstream rider" he is. |

I don't get the ones saying that Canc peaked too early. How can you say that? Finishing on podium in the front group of Paris-Roubaix .. is that peaking too early? That's one hell of an amazing effort.
Today's surprise, though, is Maaskant. What a guy! |

BUT WHAT MATTERS MOST IS THAT BIG GEORGE HANDICAP DIDNT WIN! Ahem...
But as i would to point out: I had totally called Boonen to win in front of Cancellera.

He was weak, yes, I'm not denying that at all. Boonen was much better - we could all see that. What I'm saying is that he didn't peak too early, because if he did he wouldn't finish on the podium in Paris-Roubaix. |

It's two completely different races, so it's hard to tell. And besides, I didnt' watch Milano - Sanremo. I was reading the live reports from my mobile phone in the middle of nowhere, so
It's also a lot about "day feelings". Once again, I'd like to point out that Cancellara was in the front group with Boonen and Ballan - he wasn't dropped or anything. He just didn't have the extra 5 % on the day to win it. Boonen obviously did. |
