Super-strong ride from Traksel. I didn't see that coming, rather hoped for De Vries. But I'm very impressed though he couldn't stand a chance against Gesink.

Can't believe no one volunteered for Germany yet, it's the most exciting race of all, judging by the startlist
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Oh god that was horrible, Mezgec doesn't sprint in flat stages, then the climbers work for him in the mountains *facepalm* |

Obviously I have Radochla and Schulze (just forgot them myself ) in there from my team, but since they'll most likely be completely worthless (as in every other race so far) I hope people trust me not to cheat: If I do it will be fairly obvious anyway I expect

I don't think anyone has a problem with you doing it, can't wait for the action and most importantly an Argos-Shimano win |

Deutsche Meisterschaft - ITT
This is a flat ITT featuring Tony Martin…
The winner is so obvious that the organizers haven’t even bothered setting up an intermediate time, it could be a close battle for 2nd place though with several riders looking very even on paper!
Team NetApp Endura is really hoping to get something from the German championships. For now they get the first two starters at least…
Jens Voigt is able to put in some very strong TT’s when he hits his best, so he could be an outsider for the podium.
Euskaltel have been so gracious as to send their two Germans here to make sure everyone else looks good…
NetApp holds a provisional 1-2-3 for a while, but then Voigt takes the lead as could be expected.
In the RR we will see Sieberg working hard for Greipel, but today he is allowed his own chance. He beats his captain for a provisional 9th place while Voigt is still unchallenged in the lead.
Europcar’s Schröder will need a small miracle both today and tomorrow to get a champions jersey…
Still a 4th place so far is fairly good.
BMC have established a tradition of doing pretty much nothing. Will Nerz be changing that today?
Almost as he is only 10 seconds slower than Voigt giving him a provisional 2nd place.
Something that lasts until Knees passes the line just under 2 minutes later 4 seconds faster than Nerz.
Right after him comes Josef Hintermüller in same time as Voigt!
There were high expectation to Schwabe today, but 4th at this point is less than hoped for.
Finally Voigt/Hintermüller is beaten by der Jensie’s team mate Klöden. 17 seconds faster with only 2 riders still remaining.
When Gretsch passes the line 3 seconds faster than Klöden he immediately starts celebrating his silver medal.
There’s just not a lot you can do when you’re up against the reigning world champion…
The time difference between no. 1 and 2 matches that between no 2 and 17!

Well done Josef, top 5 is a good result here. Now on to do something in the Road Race.

So close to a top 10 there. Maybe Koch can do something in the RR, but probably not. |
