So I can't appreciate it because I think it could be better? Whatever. I do prefer to read a book not knowing how it will end. Guess we dinosaurs are that strange.

So because the race has in recent history finished in a dash up a hill you can tell me who will win next year? You predicted the top3 of this year, probably the most unexpected top3 of the last few seasons.
So there is no break and the riders just cruise across the route. No-one makes a move before the finale?
Are we talking about the same race?

I can't tell you who will win (unless Purito hits top form, of course) but I can tell you how. There is a break, and attacks yes. Just like in the Champs-Élysées stage, or in the Scheldeprijs. Both ultra amazing, mega fantastic, not predictable at all races.
And before someone decides that nit-picking is nice and brings Vino re the Champs stage, remember that for every Vino we have dozens of unavoidable bunch sprints.

Not latest news but just realized most probably won't know anything about it:
Rein Taaramäe went to a lung doctor after the Basque tour. The reason for his breathing problem was pus in his lungs (ick). Not much more info about this but he was told to use his asthma medication all year round.

In short, he has chronic asthma. His lungs were completely plugged, very little air got through. He went through a course of anti-inflamatory drugs and is feeling better. Will start in Liege.

He is another guy that hasn't reached the top of his career thanks to constant illness/injuries... |

How hard can it be?

Sounds like he is taking a break from commentating duties on Eurosport for two'ish months rather. Commentating the Tour of Turkey and then he's off on a sabbatical until the Tour de France. Though I could be wrong and he could be coming back for solely for le Tour and then leaving for good. I guess it depends on how you interpret his tweets, but I didn't get that impression personally. |

I take it to mean that he is leaving permanently. He might have some log device leave to use before the Tour, then he can do that and leave.

Lots of bad luck indeed. But some news on the bright side, in LBL he was in the main group until 20k to go. Says his lungs are OK now, inflamation is gone and after a weeks rest will start preping for TdF.
Also, his blood hematocrit has been higher this year (it usually on the low side), so that looks good.

I cant agree more, rather be called dinosaur, than saying i am enjoying the most boring race on the calendar. I am glad they changed AGR finish at least, or we would have two borefests per Ardennes week...

FDJ Giro Team
Murilo Fischer, Anthony Roux, Jussi Veikkanen, Johan Le Bon, Nacer Bouhanni, Sandy Casar, Arnold Jeannesson, Laurent Pichon, Francis Mourey.
Intresting team, definitely has at least one possible stage win in the that team.

The crashtastic season for Movistar continues as Andrey Amador broke his collarbone during Liège - Bastogne - Liège. |

I don't know what, but something about the spring classics has just been so... so... meh.
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

I get what you mean.
Though Liège was probably my favorite one, though! |

Roubaix was way better, imo. Possibly E3 and GW too.

I wasn't particularly happy with Luigi's victory either, but I can see the excitingness of a race beyond the rider who wins.

Whats going on this year with Julien Simon? Last year, at this time, he had already around 400 CQ points and did well in the ardennes. |
