Manx's Fantasy Season - Tour of Oman
Neillster
By the way, I'm trying to work the database myself, but every time I go to start either a career or a season, the game cuts out. Sad Manx, is there anything else that I'd need to run it? Frown

It always happens to me. I would like to find out what it is as well.

make sure you've got the right base DB (expansion for 1.3.0.0)
beware career cause some teams have 30+riders and that could mess it up
i'm having no issues Smile

Santos Tour Down Under - Preview

We all know the route.
4 flat stages
2 hilly stages, 1 HTF.

Stage 2 could create gaps around Stirling, but the main action will take place on Willunga Hill on Stage 5.
A puncher, or very strong sprinter should take the GC.

Orica-GreenEdge are the strongest team, and Gerrans is expected to win the GC, while Goss looks good for a stage win or two.
BMC have also brought a strong team, where Gilbert is the main threat.
Sky are lead by Gasparotto who is yet another threat to Gerrans.
Omega Pharma have brought Kittel along, and he the only other big sprinter alongside Goss.

FDJ have almost written the race off with a very weak, break orientated squad.
Lotto may also struggle, relying on Flahaut and Roelandts.
Astana are interesting. Weak GC and sprint hopes but you can't count them out.

Can't wait for the first stage. Go Farrar!!!!

"Lotto may also struggle, relying on Flahaut and Roelandts."

In deed, i'm saving ammunition for other combats. If different teams win the 6 stages, the GC, the youth, Mountains and Points then we'll have 10 teams winning something and 8 winning nothing. I should be on this second group and i believe that are teams that are winning more than 1 thing.
The non-winners can also have top 5 or top 10 on stages or overall, and maybe Lotto can surprise and get something out of it.

Jesleyh
Argh... Hoped to have a chance in the sprint... With Goss & Kittel it will be very hard to grab a stage win...
Well, Top 3 might be possible...
Still can't wait Wink

Well, at least I got the points jersey, but sadly, you're not getting money and points for the ranking with just wearing the jersey Sad

Decent start. Looking for a minimum of 300 points from this Tour.

Can't you just give one point and a really small amount of money for wearing a jersey between the stages? Wink
