Won the TTT and the MITT, then I just used my team to look after him at all times and only responded to the attacks by those closest to him. There were people like Mollema, Van Den Broeck etc. that kept attacking right at the start of climbs but they were no danger, so I let the others chase them down and saved as much energy as possible for the final few kilometres. It does help that the closest rival was only Dani Moreno aswell!
If Schleck and Nibali had been in shape then it would have been a LOT more difficult! |

I decided to give myself a real challenge with the self-made Domina Vacanze - Belavia team. The team consists of six Italians and six Belarussians. Team captains are Samoilau and Bisolti, while we have great hopes for the future with Bazhkou, a highly talented 21-year old puncher. Looking forward to riding 2.2 races and challenging the big teams in races like Trentino and Emilia.
I'd also consider a story about Bazhkou, but I'm too lazy to deal with screenshots

Tried again with PCM, and having a fun IAM career. Best result in season 1 was probably Larsson finishing 4th overall in Suisse where Tschopp also got a stage win. We also won the Tour of China and Bayern-Rundfahrt.
Moving into season two we got promoted to WT. I had some money saved up so I brought in Degenkolb, Albasini and a few smaller riders like Frank and Jungels. Lots of talents as well, Bossard will be a great stage racer in future.
Here is my squad currently in December 2013:

Time to speak about my month of March. The month started good, where Jan Ghyselinck finished 2nd on the GC and won a stage in the Driedaagse van-West Vlaanderen. Then, Ginnani finished 2nd on Strade Bianche, with Tyler Farrar finishing 15th. Then a horrible Paris-Nice, where Tyler Farrar's 5th on Stage 2 was our best result. Tirreno was better, Boswell, finished 14th and took the young rider's jersey. Milano San-Remo was bad, Ginnani was our best in 25th. Then Catalunya, where Yevhen Pavliuk finished 4th in the GC, won the white jersey and a stage. Markus also made numerous top 10 finishe's in the 3 sprints. During the week, the team also raced the Dwars Door Vlaanderen, with Ghyselinck finishing 6th and Farrar 15th. Then, the 1st PT cobbled classic: E3 Prijs. Ghyselinck finished 7th, an awesome result, adding to a 16th by Farrar. Ghyselinck 7th was very good because at one time there was only three rider's left in front: him, Gustav Larsson and Cancellara, both from Radioshack. He lost contact in the last cobbled section and ended up sprinting for the 6th place, losing it for Avarmaet but beating Boom to 7th. On Criterium International, Boswell finished 2nd on the queen stage and 2nd on the GC, also winning the youth classification. Samoilau finished 10th, with Balloni on 12th. The team still rode Gent-Wevelgem, where Farrar finished 6th, Ghyselinck 13th and Beuret 22nd. In the end, we're more than 400 points ahead of relegation zone. |

Btw, just a curiosity. Boonen is dumb. How come the 2nd best rider in cobbled races in my save, let's Cancellara go and only attacks when Cancellara is 4 minutes ahead? |

Started (once again...) a new career. This time with Argos, it's a fun challenge to play with such a team after I almost exclusively played with teams that focussed on GTs.
I just played MSR and the remain in WT should be safe by now. Tom Stamsnijder won the TdU after winning from a break with some 2:30 on stage one (never experienced that before!), Degenkolb was fourth after winning all four flat stages (not that hard with Kittel as a lead out against that kind of opposition). It seems like we have an abonnement on 4th places now, Degenkolb scored the same overall at T-A, including one stage win, and also finished 4th at MSR, just like Gerdemann (I signed him, obv ) at P-N. Ânyway, so far, it's a lot of fun to play. Degenkolb also won 7 stages at the Tour of Langkawi and two classics, so he has already 14 stage wins. Next up for him is E3 Prijs and G-W, then a break until August. Kittel rides the Tour and the Vuelta. Unfortunately, Geschke broke a wrist so he's not going to be able to lead us in the Ardennes ...

Started my Domina Vacanze - Belavia career with a victory in the Tour of South Africa! Strange enough, only four teams took part of this race, but still it was very controlled and MTN's Sbaragli could take a bunch of stage wins, as Benfatto was no match for him. But the battle for the GC took place between Van Niekerk (MTN) and Bisolti in the hilly stages, both winning one, with Bisolti taking a small gap to claim the final victory.
Next up: Strade Bianchi & Roma Maxima. No expectations for these races, except for making it into the breakaway group and scoring some tv time |

Gained promotion with Europcar. Joined by IAM in the WT.
Argos and FDJ went down.
Aiming to score most of our points in Paris-Nice, the Flanders Classics, the Dauphine and the Tour
Anything else is a bonus to us, as we are still building up. A few talents should develop well this season. Looking at Coquard (already 76/75), Tulik and Thurau (71hl) to really improve this season. Voeckler has started to decline so will be looking to try and grab someone to replace him. Will also loose Boyer and Pichot at the end of the season so i can bring in another couple of leaders.
Main transfer targets will be Pinot, Coppel and Bardet (77hl)

Here is my squad currently in December 2013:
Reached the end of the Ardennes classics, had a good run of results. Albasini was second at the TDU, and also finished third in a hilly Tirreno. Degenkolb was our leader at Paris-Nice, but got injured after a fall, ending his classics hopes. His best result of the season so far was third at the Strade Bianchi.
After that though, had a great Milan-Sanremo. Albasini won after an attack on the Poggio where he just held off the sprinters. Haussler also finished eighth. The Australian didn't have a very good cobbled season though, his best result being a ninth at De Ronde.
Moving onto the Ardennes, Albasini was tenth at Amstel before getting a third at Fleche. He also did well in Liege, getting sixth. Next two big races are Romandie and the Giro, where Larsson and Pelucchi will lead us. Hoping for a top 5 GC in Romandie and A stage win + top 15 overall in the Giro. |

I'm doing a custom team with a load of promising youths except for the overpowered ones (Sagan, Kittel etc.).
It's actually great fun . |
