I thought he looked like he was struggling.

According to his words, he made amateur mistake and did not eat enough and suddenly he was empty completly. Stiil not bad Trentino with 6th overall, some Giro candidates were way back also. But strange decision to skip L-B-L, he says because of too much travelling.

New prediction!
1. Gilbert
2. Cunego
3. Vanendert
4. Sanchez
5. Rodriguez
I reckon Gilbert's current form is enough to win in this field where all the other favourites seems to be far from top form too.
He'll follow an attack from Vanendert together with Cunego on the Saint-Nicolas and then outsprint both of them. Behind, it's a close battle between the two Spaniards Sanchez and Rodriguez for fourth.
Don't believe in the Schlecks, Nibali or Valverde.
The surprises will be Mollema, Kiserlovski and Julien Simon.

His main target is the Vuelta, later this year, and he wasn't going to ride the Giro.
Today, I expect a win from Gilbert, with Cunego, Rodriguez, Sanchez and Vanendert in the saddle too. |

I don't think he was doing the Giro anyway. I think it's the Vuelta only this year for him. Still a pity for him though.
EDIT: Freitas was faster.

Just realized I won't be home during today's race. Apparently, I was stupid enough to say yes when asked to be a part of the chain crew in a U16 football game today.
... so I downloaded Eurosport Player to my phone and hope that the 3G coverage is good at the football pitch |

As long as you get paid for the inconvenience, I don't see the problem.
Anton is incredibly unlucky. |

I hope we get a more realistic result this time then we did last Sunday.
Real life is just as bugged as PCM. |

Rather a 'surprise' result, then a domination by one rider. Although, i really don't call sunday a surprise result.

It was a bit surprising, with Purito, Valverde sucking, but if you want RL bugged classics, nothing like Lombardia or Roubaix last year, and Gerrans' MSR to a lesser extent.
And wtf Antón. The Basque answer to Robert Gesink, it looks like he can't fall without breaking something. Shame.

Did I ever mention that an important use of corticoids tends to make your bones fragile ? |
