My internet died for that climb. But OH MY... How amazing.
Voeckler.
At this rate he's worth a bet at winning the tour
At the end of stage 7 i said you can't give away 5 minutes to Voeckler because he is a good climber but most of the peeps laughed me off
I knew he could ride a bit possessed with the yellow. But not like this... this is just wow. I predicted he'd lose it today. WRONG!
Nobody really attacked from the favorite group, they just rode away. So if they keep doing that and not cracking Voeckler with a bunch of attacks. He got this i think.

Horrible stage, almost nothing happened. And as I said in the prediction of this stage, they (especialy Samu) again underestimated Vanendert If they contuinue to race like this Voeckler will finnish the Tour at least on the podium

They all seem content to just finish in the top group. Well i guess this all plays into Cadels hands. Maybe everyone is saving energy for the last few climbs? (or is overly obsessed with saving energy, due to what would appear to be less drugs in the race in the last few seasons).
Agreed. Cadel is still the odds on favorite at this point because of his TT skills. But it does seem that everyone is riding afraid. Sadly, if this is the prevailing sentiment amongst the favorites, the days of seeing someone just blow everyone else away long gone. |

Plus, Vockler seemed to be setting the pace for most of that last climb. In the last week he should have the luxary of wheel-sucking the favorites who are the ones that need to gain time. |

Vanendert also takes over the polkadot jersey, two points ahead of Sánchez.

Why? The whole HTC team has to work for Cav in the flat stages. It's only natural they can't cope with the best in mountains.

Well a 2 km relay at the end wouldn't hurt this much would it?
I expected him to be Top10 today he was fantastic at Vuelta so anything but top10 is a dissapointment |
