Granted downhill attack is less of a commitment, but Nibbali is the only one to attack for the overall bar Contador.
Scarponi has only followed wheels, or attacked after Contador is gone.
Rujano went for the stage on Etna, but has followed wheels after that
Gadret and Dupont have attacked but only on the flat bits when others are happy to let them go.

Well, cycling isn't about attacking all the time, especially when maybe they don't really have the legs
If you attack one day, you can pay it the next one (Antón)
As for Gadret, just because seeing a french near a podium on the 3rd week of a GT is something quite rare, I can't find any critics

Italian police clothed in regular pedestrian clothes did a thorough search of the Radioshack bus and equipment on the rest day and didn't find a thing. I wonder what stemmed this search....*cough* Lance *cough*. I bet they thought they were gonna walk into a needle/bag/blood haven. |

You serious?
Scarponi also attacked a few times BEFORE Contador was gone. He tried on Grossglockner for example.
He definately tried everything he could, either attacking or counter-attacking. Nibali just sat in a group doing nothing.
Rujano attacked BEFORE contador on Etna, attacked BEFORE contador on Grossglockner. Attacked yesterday a couple of times BEFORE Contador.
He led almost the entire Fedaia from the moment Nibali was dropped. Rujano even attacked 1km before the top dropping the rest.
You simply haven't paid much attention have you?
If you are going to claim things at least make sure you are right.. lol

I forgot Grossglockner, mentioned Etna.
Rujano didn't attack at all yesterday, bar for mountain points, which doesn't count. Leading a group doesn't count, otherwise we can claim Agnoli was the most aggressive rider.

He did attack at the Fedaia, how else do you explain he was riding alone over the top there, and the group Contador was 25 seconds behind at the top?
The rest braked???
You have a flawed selective memory sir.

Every team riding the giro knows that at some point during the giro the police will make a search. Either it is of a rider or a team. Therefor it seems stupid to have all the doping things somewhere the police can find it. Makes me wonder where they are hiding their stuff though. Who was it that got searched and he had all his good stuff with his girlfriend who also had her room searched?
I think Contador is doped and i expect him to get a suspension in June. If you are 100% Contador is doped and 100% convinced Nibali and some of the other GC contenders are doping free then you can blame Contador for being that much better but Personally i am sure there are at least a few more who have also done something. I think it would have been a very different race if Contador hadnt been taking part but now he is here and there is nothing that can be done about it right now.
My personal policy is to be unsure about pretty much everyone but i really only dislike riders when i am 100% convinced they are not clean. That is just how things have progressed after watching cycling for almost 15 years. It doesnt take them being caught but usually a collective of thing lead up to it. Sometimes thanks to IssoIsso.
I tried to forgive a rider after he had completed his suspension but it didnt really work out for Basso and me.
I am looking forward to how the battle during the mountain TT will be today. Menchov might finally show something. Scarponi and Nibali will want to show form too. |

I have a feeling Menchov could really struggle today and have his usual bad day after a rest day, not that he's had a great day as yet in the Giro. Gadret should go very well and Rujano too, but I guess we can expect Contador to increase his lead again. |

I think Gadret could be losing almost a minute by the time the actual climb begins. |

I thought the same as the first kilometers are flat. But neverthelss I voted for him today. He is in a great shape and last year he also surprised in the mountain time trial. |

I'm not a fan of Gadret, but it looks (apart from the flat section then) like a perfect stage for him. He was 3rd last year, comfortably ahead of Nibali and Scarponi, so considering he is going much better than last year, I voted for him too. |

Don't be silly, that implies Contador can take a stage victory whenever he wants. Oh wait... |

If Contador had a stronger team this Giro could have turned out like
Roturn playing on easy..... A win every stage. |

Quite sure I would fail in lots of stages even on easy.
But indeed. Saxobank is quite weak except of him. Also Navarro and Porte not in their best shape. Probably Gustov still the strongest. |
