Although this was an oridnary stage i hop the Giro organisers will stop the search for new limits, no matter if up- or downhill.
I don't really think this accident blame is of the organisers..
It was a normal downhill |

I have to agree, this is something that could have happen anywhere and to anyone. Accidents happen and when they do it's allways a tragedy. |

It's pure bad luck.
This is so sad, not sure about watching the rest of the race.

R.I.P! This was just tragic! I hope the Giro can go ahead as good as normal, and we get the race we all have dreamt about, but I doubt it. |

I can't believe it happened. For me it's the worst day in cycling. |

The second I saw him there I was afraid of this, but I hoped for the best.
I... I don't know what to say. I'm shure the pain I feel now is but a fraction of what those close to him are experiencing. |

Horrible
Death should never be a part of sport, and it just sucks so much.

Agreed. The downhill that someone showed a picture of earlier - that's crazy. This one was ordinary. A bit technical, yes, but with plenty of space and a fine surface.
Sad day for cycling, though.

Missed the stage, come home to the news.
Just, terrible. Completely terrible. As SN said, death should never be part of sport.
RIP Woulter.
Edit: Just makes it worse that I've learnt his wife is expecting a child. Very sad day indeed.

How did he end up on the road in front of the team cars though? |
