TdF Stage 5 -- Cholet - Chateauroux
The pack is splitting up with 30 kms left, due to strong winds
Andy Schleck is caught in the back
Wiggins, Kreuziger and Nibali also lost contact, but they get back to the front soon after.
Haussler wins the sprint
Our 3 riders at the front. We prioritized protecting VdB instead of going for the stage, so Feillu was completely finished when the sprint started.

TdF Stage 7 -- Brioude - Aurillac
The pack split up Pas de Peyrol, this is the second group. Riders who are in this group: Menchov, Wiggins, Kreuziger, Sanchez, Andy and Fränk, Nibali among other others.
We are doing all we can to keep the lead, only around 35 riders in the front.
After Pas de Peyrol the lead is around 2 minutes
But at the last climb the lead is just over a minute. We increase the pace even more.
Getting stretched over the top
And the lead is again around 2 minutes
Feillu was sitting at the back of the pack on the downhill, and therefore couldn't do anything in the sprint.
Haussler wins the sprint, Feillu gets 0 points.
Group no. 2 finishes "1'40 behind.

Nice results on the last two stages. Especially the latest one with Van den Broeck moving up to 4th overall. Well done.

Thanks
But is was more the lack of concetration from the other rider, than my skills, which made VdB move up to 4th. |

TdF Stage 9 -- Toulouse - Bagneres-de-Bigorre
No other teams wanted to do any workd on Col Peyresourde, so we take the responsibility. Right now I'm very happy I chose to bring so many climber. Rolland, Sicard, Pinot, Voeckler and Gautier all did a great job on this stage
Nibali, Menchov and Wiggins further behind, all lost contact on Peyresourde (probably due to the one-lane roads).
Only 30 riders left in the front group, which would decrease to 20 over the Aspin. Van den Broeck has great legs, but it is too far to the line from the top, so I won't waste any energy on attacking.
Sanchez wins the sprint, VdB is 4th

TdF Stage 10 -- Pau - Hautacam
Contador, A. Schleck, Basso and Kreuziger attacking on Hautacam. We decided that the best thing to do was to just ride our own pace, and hope that the riders in front would slow down.
And they did! 2 kms left
The pace then got higher again, and Andy Schleck attacks in the final k
And wins! You can see Gautier, who had astonishing good legs today, and VdB is not far behind.
Sanchez, Nibali, Wiggins is 40 seconds behind VdB, Menchov is 20 behind them again.

Yes, the differences hasn't been that big yet. I think there were over 70 riders left over Tourmalet, so the pace wasn't that high. |

TdF Stage 11 -- Lannemezan - Foix
Perfect stage for a break away, which Arvesen proved in 2008. But, actually there was no break away at all, so the pace over Col de Portel was extremely slow.
First time we use Gautier in a sprint so far
The uphill sprint could suit Gilbert, but I think he is going too early. Feillu has Davis on his wheel
Feillu goes with 1.2 kms left, but Davis has higher speed.
EXTREMELY close finish where Davis passed Feillu in the last metres. We can comfort ourselves with Haussler bad result.

TdF Stage 12 -- Lavelanet - Narbonne
Voeckler driving the trains further up the pack
Haussler goes just after the 2 km left mark, which seems early to me
But he has great pace, and distances Feillu before he goes, it seems like my tactic to sprint with 1 km left from last year doesn't work this year.
Feillu has higher speed than the others in the end, but he can't stop Haussler from winining, still he managed a second.

TdF Stage 13 -- Narbonne - Nimes
Voeckler is nice to have on a downhill finish
Eisel leads with 2 kms to the line
Feillu doesn't notice Davis coming from behind, and gets boxed in
It's going to be close
F****** Davis , beats us to the line again
Once again there is a split in the pack (didn't notice until the stage was finished). Riders include Andy and Fränk Schleck, Samuel Sanchez and Ivan Basso. Amateurish...

Sanchez attacks on the last hill, Voeckler follows
Seems like he only wanted the mountain points, Voeckler is going for the stage
1 km left, and the pack is getting closer
Sagan and Pozzato is passing Voeckler, while Feillu is advancing fast
Sagan wins in front of Pozzato, Voeckler 3rd and Feillu 4th.
