don't underestimate menchov, he was very good at the mountain stage couple days ago. he got a good time trial too and got half a minute on evans.
my favourites for the TT win are Cadel Evans, Vladimir Karpets, Stijn Devolder, Denis Menchov and maybe Pereiro.
for gold, it would be the same except for the caisse riders.

I don' underestimate menchov. He has a good TT too, but i think evans is much superior (not that much), and those 25/30 seconds that menchov has are not enough. And maybe the battle for gold today it will be Evans vs Devolder. If Evans doesn't make it i bet that will be Devolder.

everyone ready to see Evans take gold?
for anyone who has a question mark over Efimkin's TT skills, allow me to dispel them: he's horrible
also, the time trial today is dead flat, almost no turns, straight ahead. if there's a headwind, this will be brutal with HUGE differences. it's all about power today.
here's to hoping

apparently, Zandio and Pereiro have been below themselves due to a stomach bug.

Gomez Marchante 1:20 to Grabsch at Km 12. Imagine at the end to Evans and Menchov, Devolder

yup, as I said, big differences today. it's all about power and aerodynamics

isso is back at the Vuelta. I agree with you isso, and of course we are right about Evans. We are Portuguese, we are always right

It's an ideal TT to Evans. He is a tiny rider

I can see Menchov doing a lot better than usual today. ordinarily I wouldn't bet on him to beat Evans, but he's most likely going to catch Sastre, and that will give him a big psychological boost
and thanks guys, it's great to be back

Freire is psychic. from cyclingnews:
"Anybody notice that three-time stage winner Oscar Freire was nowhere to be seen in yesterday's finale? It's because he is not only an outstanding sprinter, he can also foretell the future. He took a look at Friday's closing kilometers, and yesterday morning at the breakfast table told his teammates they could take the day off from pulling a sprint for him. They are going to fall in the finale; I am not taking any risks," the speedy Spaniard accurately predicted."

you're going to be happy today. Grabsch is all power, which is very good today, and it seems as though he might just win
