I haven't watch today's stage but...
MENCHOV ATTACKING FOR THE SPRINT B)
He is briliant. ... You gotta love this because he is labeled a wheelsucker and then he just goes and does something so unpredictable.
Menchov is THE ONLY rider who can suprise me!!! |

The queen stage of the Tour of Belgium.
And I'm not joking, it was brilliant. Attacks from 80km till the finish... Lars Boom and Thomas Dekker dropping Ivanov on the climb (the AGR winner Ivanov, yes). And finally Bert de Waele just staying ahead of the group Boom/Dekker, with Van Avermaet finishing 2nd and Boom 3rd.
Greatest Ardennes stage I saw of the last 10 years
AGR was long time ago..
and this all sounding like your christmas cycling race..Dekker at the front group..etc..no offence.
Wrong. Ivanov was strong, he won the first stage and looked strong all race.
But then again, I can't take you seriously. You haven't seen it. |

Looking forward to this, it's been an interesting Giro. Let's wait for the tv coverage to judge the course |

This is a flat time trial, so like in any other flat time trial, there's about a 50% chance that the winner will be decided solely by a strong change in wind direction midway through the day.

Looks like the rain may have come just too soon for Wiggins
1 second behind Konovalovas at the finish, it could now be the Lithuanian's day |

That's it. done. Konovalovas wins.
Unless the cobbles dry up REALLY fast...

That and Sprick's crash of course.
And yes, the course is drying out quickly. I'm still hoping for an equally exciting finish to the giro. More rain please. |

The only way for Di Luca do win the Giro is if Menchov crashes badly. But that is a no win situation. Menchov losing the Giro because of a crash and Di Luca winning due to good luck. The way things should be is Menchov winning because of his great merit and Di Luca second as a fine fighter who never gave up.

But if Menchov is taking way to high risk and crash then it his own fault...
Words to live by

I think it's quite clear to say Menchov has won the Giro.
And he's won it very well too. But there is the possibility of crashing, and i think Menchov knows this, whilst Di Luca has admitted defeat. |

After 5kms, Di Luca has the best time. Menchov is yet to pass there.
