Really race organisers? You are going to put Sir Bradley Wiggins on your graphics? No one else gets Mr or any other title, this is just some nationalistic drivel.

Deignan rumoured to have crashed with broken collar bone and out of the World Championships...
Damn those wet roads!
Wiggins looked great today, he even took it easy on some of those tight corners so he would have won by more if it was dry. Stannard was a big surprise!

I know, it's really bizarre. I don't if there's anyone with a PHD in the race because I would love to see a Dr. |

Wiggins is the new leader of the Tour of Britain.
Perfect for exciting racing IMO, Wiggins will have to descend well on Stage 4 and 5 to protect his lead against the likes of Martin & Quintana.

Taking a guess by looking at the vague profile it looks like a gentle rise to the line at worst https://www.pelotonwatch.com/calendar/...tage3.html |

He did a really good TT in the Italian National Championships, finished 3rd on a hillier course iirc. Still, he seems to have really improved at the TT. |

The Italian TT was a guinine hilly course so it wasn't that much of a surprise, this one seems odd but mind you it wasn't a a great TT field

There was some uphill parts on the bit I walked around, but not that much. Just I good ride from Pirazzi I guess - especially since it was raining for his ride, before the rain eventually stopped halfway through.
So, photos!
The Top 5

Did you get pretty close to Quintana then or is that just a creeper's longshot? |

Would have needed a longshot most of the day as they cordoned off all the team buses - which was a bit of a shame! Was quite fun to walk around the team buses at a stage start a couple of years ago.
But nah, was close up there. He came out to do some autographs/photos with people just as I was wandering past after the stage finish. Movistar were somewhat more accessible than the Team Sky deathstar and the hordes around it!

Nice pics. It's obvious from the lateral shots that Wiggo has the best position (most horizontal back).
Has anyone else noticed that Movistar (Dowsett) don't use the same TT frames that Sky ? Notice the brakes position for example. |

Perfect images SN, but that is your standard.
The shot of Wiggo is just lovely.
