As expected Luxemburg has troubles finding 9 decent cyclist for the WC. At the moment they only have 5: Andy and Fränk, Kirchen, Didier and Drücker. Poos is unable to participate.
In the years of comebacks, here's another one: Theo de Rooi returns, now as a sports directeur for Astana. Marinus Wagtmans will be the new team manager after Bruyneel.
The Danish 'talent' team Team Capinordic is likely to disband at the end of this season.
The title sponsor, Capinordic, signed a 3 year contract prior to this season, but due to the financial crisis, they are unable to / don't want to fulfil their requirements.
The team owner has given himself a two week deadline to find a new title sponsor. If he's unsuccesful, the team will close.
I think the best riders, like Martin Pedersen will either head for a pro continental team or Designa Køkken, and the rest will spread out between the itehr danish continental team.

Remember that Dekker's b-sample test result would be known end august?
Well, it isn't, and there is probably a good reason for that. Strong rumour going on it's negative. and the UCI and WADA are panicking what to do next...
Btw I'm not defending Dekker here, I'm pretty sure he used (the way he talked and acted after the a-sample result) .
But somehow...there is something weird going on here.
Since we're on the subject of B-samples, Astarloza's came back positive today
