And to further compound my misery, I finally got my car started, then on the way home the car directly in front of me on a roundabout dropped a spot of oil, I had no way to avoid it and my car spun. Suddenly I was facing the wrong way in the middle of traffic on a roundabout.
Definitely not my day
What do you think about Nibali? Current abilities and future...

Cyclingnews live commentary mentions that Contador asked Kloden something and Kloden responded by waving his head "NO"
Yes he did, but that was way down at the climb, I'm not sure it was at the last climb or close to the top of the Col de Romme. |

Oh, sorry. Didn't see that post
Nibali was billed as a future superstar from a very young age.
He's finally starting to rise to a level where he can actually be a star.
Last year he was very good, but peaked BETWEEN the giro and the Tour, so he wasn't particularly good in either. But this year he's showing he's very good indeed.
Unlike Kreuziger who isn't developing much.
He can definitely be a top, top rider if he continues to improve slowly like he has so far.
No chance he gets the third spot on the podium, though. His time trial is reasonable, but not great. |

From the television it actually looks like Klöden is distanced with 5-10 metres before Contador attacks, and that might be the reason why he attacked, he didn't want to be alone with A. and F. Schleck, without having Klöden there?
And my second hero for the day (behind the Schlecks, I count them as one, they are riding great) is Hushovd. Eventhough I'm norwegian that was a spectacular stage from him, and it was quite funny to read Wiggins' comment at Twitter after the stage:
"Thor Husovd, what can I say, after a certain persons comments today, Thor sticks two fingers up in a way that only Thor can. A true Gent" |

My prediction for the order after the TT tomorrow:
1st Contador
2nd A. Schleck
3rd Armstrong
4th Wiggins
5th Kloden
6th F. Schleck
7th Nibali
8th Vande Velde
Only a minute or so gap from 2nd to 6th. |

From Kreuziger's web:
Kreuziger was rather conserving energy as he is been having bowel problems since the day off.”Yesterday I thought it was gone but it came back during the night. I took some meds before the stage but I didn’t take any ionic drinks as a precaution. I didn’t even eat any power gels. I hope it will get better and I will gain energy quickly. The race’s beginning to be hard again,” Kreuziger added.

This is also Liquigas problem..they have a Basso, Nibali, Kreuziger , Pellizotti. We know that Pellizotti and Kreuziger already hate Basso. Lampre will get a new leader? |

He got dropped on the mountain stage before the "day off" |

Yes, I know you mean the rest day. He got dropped on the mountain stage before the rest day and finished quite a bit behind
So, no excuses |

Just watched replay..two great moments. How andy played "pocker" before schleck atacks started.
After Contador atack..how 2 Schlecks together has one man closed that gap down.
And after that Contador atack..Lance and Bruyneel don't like to "play" with contador anymore. Biathlon dream new "Astana" with Bruyneel-Lance-Contador is sliping away..
But Lance is something..one fact. He is clearly best Giro man on this race...

It was sad to see Sastre fail this miserably though. He deserves better.

I loved how Contador looked like he was in trouble. talk about schadenfreude. I'm not a big Saxo fan but they seem to be the only ones who can put the hurt on Contador. Here is to Schleck in yellow come paris

They're not going to make it yellow, either of them, Andy however will probably get more easily 2nd place as I posted before if all goes well, even with the time trial tomorrow. Franks is going to drop a couple of places.
I have a crystal ball. |

Anywho, I just realized how Contador actually cracked on the last mountain stage to Col d'Aubisque in 07, it could happen again at Mont Ventoux. Then again, he was racing a doper in 07

Crystal ball requires 5 euros to work. Please insert 5 euros bill. |
