It was a nice gesture from Valverde. But Evans did a good job, anyways. Unlike Valverde, nobody helped him during the chase (against the wind, btw). And Contador, the man to watch, the super climber, didn't do a thing to at least defend a bit his second place. And to those who said he hadn't the obligation to attack: if today wasn't the day for him to get the yellow yersey, then when?
Mabey he didn't feel too vell?! And this is a warm-up form him. He dosen't take it too serious.
Perhaps. But had the situation been the oppositte, a lot of people would be calling Evans a wheelsucker. But, again, my point is that Evans did a good job, working by himself and limiting his loss to 2 minutes against a flat out Valverde who had a nice help during his climb.

My avatar is of a rider! Cervelo is the real team, but because of Contador I have to hold a bit to Astana.
I don't see "Astana" written there. I see a big sign saying "Discovery"
What can I do about it? He won with Discovery. I don't care about US Dopers, only Contador.

A lot of people are calling Contador a wheel sucker. Evans is known to be a wheel sucker delux.

Wheel sucker delux? So that settles your point? Next time you could use Ultra super dooper wheelsucker. That sounds even bigger than wheelsucker delux.

OMG! Do you have to act like a kid all the time? Contador is one of the most attacking mountain riders, but only if it cares him. While Evans is known for a deffensive style. If you don't know that, you don't need to write here.

Were you watching the stage today?
I didnt see Contador move from behind Evans wheel at all.
Contador has been aggressive in the past, but today? Nothing |

I agree with Ruben and SN.
Evans did everything, Contador did nothing.

Yes, I know. But we was talking about "all time", when Ruben came and started pointing out that Contador wasn't attacking today.
Don't u people think I know?
And btw, who do you think is the most offensive, Contador or Evans?

But when Conta got the yellow jersey and people attack him.. Many riders only sit on his wheel then everybody thinks it is okay..
