I still haven´t decided if I could buy or not PCM09 and in that "thinking time" I played few more stages in my last career. I don´t know yet, if this story will continue or not, but found new motivation to play and write.
Stage 6
Only 2 flat stages remains, we could try to gain some good results before leaving Malaysia.
Nico played very active part of today´s breakaway, setting high pace as long as possible.
15km to go, peloton is getting closer, Josu Agirre feels it´s last chance to sneak away and take stage win and launches attack.
Only four riders including Nico were able to react, but they never caught Agirre. With 2km to go, they are about caught, Nico has some energy left and tries to go away for last time.
Josu Agirre made it! What a performance of Euskaltel rider!
I think we can celebrate too, Nico Eeckout held 2 place before sprinting peloton!

Stage 7
Last stage of Tour wasn´t as flat as could look. Although we couldn´t expect any major changes in GC, this wasn´t good stage for pure climbers. Nicola Maes tried his best in final sprint, but his legs were too weak (39th) as legs of many other sprinters. Stefano Garzelli could celebrate surprising win.

2-day hilly stage race, quite hard profile and some big names presented, hard task for our team.
Stage 1
Peloton was calm until attack of oung FdJ rider Mikael Cherel in downhill with 60km to go. He quickly built more then two minutes advantage over the pack.
22km to go,Fedrigo launched attack and unleashed madness, attack followed attack.
Luckily Sep Vanmarcke was able to react and join escapees.
10km to go, Cherel´s solo effort is over, he is caught.
We are moving closer to finish, group of main contenders has formed in front. Moreau, Casar, Augustyn, Gentili, Bosisio, Fedrigo, Le Lay, Vanmarcke, Lloyd, Serpa and Devenyns are here.
Last kilometer, Moreau opens the sprint. Unfortunately Vanmarcke has no legs to sprint for win.
And we have winner, it´s Massimiliano Gentili from Acqua & Sapone! Peloton is 38s behind leading group...

Stage 2
Breakaway of the day - Vogondy, Steensen, Bouyer. They worked well together for long time, Vogondy was prized by KOM jersey for his effort.
Col de Mons - hardest climb of race was over mountain skills of my riders, Vanmarcke lost his chances for good overall place right here.
28km to go - Fedrigo, Casar, Devenyns, Lloyd and Moreau attack!
Vogondy and Steensen were caught few kilometers later (Bouyer dropped from leading group sooner).
Lhotellerie, Sijmens and Monfort joined leading group, Steensen dropped off.
12km to go, yellow jersey (Gentili) tries to catch escapees, followed by Serpa and Augustyn.
But while he couldn´t join leading group, Augustyn and Serpa made it!
10 men in front, Monfort opens sprint.
Looks like Lloyd goes for glory...
...and yes, Matthew Lloyd is today and overall winner!!

Although this race is classified as cobble one, there is not even one cobble part through the race.
All important happened in last 30km. Coen Vermeltfoort lost his nerves and launched first real attack.
Kopp nad Vanmarcke decided to follow.
2nd wave of attacks - avalanche of green jerseys (Eeckhout, Ghyselinck, Van Vooren) together with Van Garderen, Claeys and Turgot.
And this is Jimmy Casper, outstanding French sprinter!
16km to go, Turgot attacks leading group, we stay calm.
10km to go - E1 Turgot, E2 Van Garderen, Claeys, Casper, Eeckhout, Van Vooren, Ghyselinck and Vanmarcke. It looks promising!
Turgot is caught, Kopp and Pichot joined leading group, Sep Vanmarcke opens sprint!
Casper moves ahead with Nico on his rear wheel.
Nico tries to go over Jimmy!
But Casper showed his class and takes the win!

Although we are cobble races oriented team, we are going to learn from real cobble stars here.
80km to go, Smukulis and De Jongh attack.
10km later, Hincapie, Backsted and Duval joined them.
De Jongh tried to go away from his fellows, but gave up his solo effort later on.
33km to go - last cobble section, still big group including Ghyselinck, Vanmarcke and Van Vooren together behind escapees.
26km to go, Ballan attacks!
Then Devolder, Pozzato...
...O´Grady...
...Flecha, Langeveld, Maaskant, Hoste, Cancellara.
13km to go - big favourites are together in front, but only for few moments...then...
...Pozzato goes down! And group has broken up.
5km to go, 6-men leading group - Devolder, Hoste, Cancellara, Ballan, O´Grady, Maaskant.
Last km, Devolder still in front, but Ballan and Hoste are looking much stronger.

I was hoping for TOP20 place here, but can´t be disappointed, because I found that it´s almost impossible to fight for top places in such hard races on extreme level. It´s simply over my abilities |

3-day long cobble stage race, my riders are ready for good result here!

Stage 1
Peloton let go away very strong breakaway group, including Maes or Vermeltfoort.
But with 16km to go, there is only rider in front, Coen Vermeltfoort, with one minute advantage. It can´t succeed...
Last cobble section and favourites attack. Luckily my men are playing main role here!
5km to go, miracle group has formed in front - Van Vooren, Ghyselinck, Vanmarcke, Eeckhout, Joseph and Van Hecke!
Our train opens sprint, Hovelynck joined leading group.
Sprint is uphill, unfortunately my riders loose power quickly, Joseph and Van Hecke are moving forward.
Joseph takes stage win, there is no time gap between leaders and peloton = huge disappointment for me.
