I think it's good purely because their pretty boring teams who contribute little to races like the giro anyway
Agreed, kind of like Euskatel in Paris-Roubaix
They wait until the first cobbled section and then quit as a team
That's not really fair.A Lot of them finish the race.
Oroz last year became the 33rd rider in the history of cycling to finish every major classic. And he did it all in less than a year, and on his first time racing each of the events.

Michael Rasmussen still hasn't heard from CAS, but either way, he'll be able to race again in August. In an interview, he says that the Vuelta is like it's built for him with high and long mountains and almost no time trial.
.. and since he's previously been linked to Xacobeo, who knows? |

and ct had to ruin it all
there are a lot of small teams who will take the shamed big-named rider so finding a team shouldn't be too hard even in the 'cleaner' environment we have now.

Were did you get that stat from?
I'm surprised, to be honest. I'd have guessed there would have been more - not so many in modern times, but in the past, I'd thought more riders would've done it. |

You would have to think guys like Hinault, Merckx, Moser, and those sorts of guys would have done it. |

as you migth have seen gent-wevelgem is one the few wind-classics.
wind is the worst adversary in that race.

Major classics are the 5 "monuments"
Milano-San Remo, Ronde Van Vlaandere, Paris-Roubaix, Liége-Bastogne-Liége and Giro di Lombardia
