As far as I remember, only one country in Europe would vote for McCain, and that's Poland. So, electing Obama is definitely a step forward. |

Its pretty clear to me that Obama has a mandate from the people of the United States to institute all of the change he has promised and he certainly will have the support from the houses of Congress

i'm staying up till Prop 8 is decided in California which would amend the state constitution to define marriage as between a man and a woman. The amenment would violate the equal rights amendment in the US Constitution by denying gays rights only available to married couples.
If it passes then it will go stright to the US Supreme Court and then struck down because of the Federal Supremacy Clause
