hmm concerning CSC, I read Sastre is on the way out as well, Riis said they cant afford him anymore now that he's won the tour, and that the future of CSC is Sorensen & the Schlecks
Riis actuallly denied having said that yesterday - but hey, why should we trust him?
I think there's a chance for Riis to keep Kolobnev, Larsson the Hurricane and Sastre with the new contract with Specialized - further big signings are unrealistic if Riis wants to keep those three, though.
Never.

Thank god you changed that from Gerolsteiner - I nearly had a panic attack when I read it first time round |

totally agreed, for both of us. After I read it I dashed off to cycling news, just in case I'd missed something. That's when you know it's bedtime. |

"We are still talking to [Tour de France winner Carlos] Sastre; I hope we can persuade him to be a member of our team," Tinkov said. "Budget? We have the budget to sign two riders like Sastre."

Russian money can be a good thing. Just look at Cheasea. Whatever went wrong with them is simply just John Terry's fault.
Not that i think it would be a good move for Sastre to join Katuysha.

I don't know if it has been mentioned but Jonathan Bellis has signed with CSC-Saxo Bank.
He will start ridding for the team in the Tour of Britain.

he's a stagiaire, he has a one-week contract, to ride the Tour of Britain. The contract may be extended for a few weeks depending on his performance.

That's not what CSC announced officially a couple of weeks ago, but it's entirely possible they may have changed their minds

Cyclingnews' report on it is a bit confusing since its not very clear but Im pretty sure he is still only a Stagiare at the moment. After all, why would a team sign a rider as a stagiare and then give him a pro contract before he has even ridden once for them?
