Yes.. guess two domestiques ain't enough for PCM to at least try chasing.. maybe next year with more Kiwis on your team?

Well-timed sprint by Ulissi! Cool race.

The strategy was Moschella as a relay station but well relay station for probably a second?

A pity that Ponzi didnt win there considering that SotD seems quite likely to sell Ulissi. Good race though.
Really bad luck for Wiggle with the TT as well, after doing all the work in the RR. They deserved something!

Agree with SN. Wiggle with some tough luck here, missing both honours so close.

Well, another year i'm not going to try getting Ulissi !for a reasonable price atleast).
Ricco with a decent race, to bad he wasn't in a decent position when the sprint started.

If I'd have won, I'd have been over the moon, with either title. But having nothing is a rather gutting experience. Considering Ignatiev is unlikely to beat Kritskiy in the Russian TT, and even if he did, he's probably on his way out of Wiggle, all I have to show this season is the San Marino colours. Not awful, of course, but I'd have preferred Scarponi to be wearing the Road kit again, not just the TT.
Still, it was a grand report, and an impressive team performance at the very least. My strongest Italian hilly team was selected pre-race, and they can clearly control a race.

A genuinely exciting race for me, excellent report too. Sella gave the RR a real go and Viviani was really good against the clock.
Never understand the hype over national champions going for massive transfer fees this suggest two things.
1) Usual bunch of con artists
2) Very gullible managers.

Very disappointing not to find Lo Cicero participating in the road race. I am confident that he would've made a huge impact in the italian hills! |

I has been saying I was going to sell him this season no matter what, this just made me think whether or not that was a good idea. i dont recall any of my riders Having previously won any of the Big national champs. Perhaps Sammy Sanchez did, I dont remember. Sorry for any miss spells, Im on the Phone.

That was a bummer for Metinvest at Ukraine nationals, what are we going to do without single national champion?
That means i need Grabovski, i really do Kami.
Congrats to PrivatBank, our two boys did not stand a chance against Artem. Why not send someone better to the break? Oh my gosh.
Nice win for Ulissi, that will make impossible dream even harder now.

Could say the same about Cucinotta.

I suppose offering Brajkovic a nice contract and send him later to unnamed ukrainian team would be much better solution.
