Jinotega, Nicaragua
Edit: Also it's good for moral in future drafts that it's possible to pick a GC winner when being 16th in draft order

Yes, that is 5 more UC points there. If Morkov stayed upright then there would have been less than 10 UC points between you and MrUFo87 for overall UC rankings!!!!!
Final rankings are coming imminently/ with my team of the tournament. It would be nice for others to do their favourite team also (POT 1: 2 riders) (POT 2: 3 riders) (POT 3: 4 riders). |

Now off to a last stage win and maybe a heavy crash on the final kilometer can get us the overall victory too.
Nearly called it. Lemoine didn't quite get the first place overall and Dean didn't win the stage, but at least he cracked Top 10. That crash was huge, poor Morkov. 6th in Final UC rankings is awesome after our team lost their captain. Also I'm the highest guy in the ranking with 2 TOTC participations. :3

2/3 goals reached, but still miwed feelings. A stage win would have been nice, especialy in the sprints I didn't see the train I was expecting.
And I keep thinking Pate would've had it with one more mountain stage.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Hehe. Apparently winning the GC and team classification isn't good enough to get anyone on the "Team of the Tournament"
2/3 goasl for me as well, but I guess I can forgive them for missing out on the 2nd stage win all things considered

@ Atlantius - I was thinking the same, but I couldn't put any T-Mobile riders ahead of any of the riders which made the team of the tournament. Hansen could slot in for Popovych I suppose, but he didn't take a stage win and he was the no.1 shirt going into this thing! |

I would probably put Hansen over Ghyselinck as the Belgian lost quite a lot of time in the mountains/hills and wouldn't have finished on the podium if it hadn't been for the mass crash on the final stage. Apart from that I agree that none of my riders can rightfully claim to be better individually that those mentioned.
With the bad draft position in mind I decided to go for consistency and I guess that paid off pretty well

- Atlantius - You did very well. If I remember you correctly you might have been the only one with Hansen on the team sheet.
We have had the 'Team of the tournament' now.....
E. Mosquera (Cartoon Network)
Rodriguez (Cactus Giant)
Holohan ( Alcyon)
Metlushenko (Semen Indonesia)
Pujol (Cartoon Network)
Karimov (Semen Indonesia)
Houle (Petro China)
V Miholjevic (Aer Lingus)
Bernaudeu (Cactus Giant)
UC point total: probably less than 30
Those 9 make up the 'raspberry worst team of the tournament!'
You might form a team which scores even less UC points than this team. But this team represent the worst choices when predicting UC points, the fact they abandoned and the fact they scored hardly any UC points are correlated. |

Not a bad TOTC for me, not great either. 66 points behind Ollfardh now though. I'll need one more to catch him. |

@Atlantius
Well, if wearing the yellow would give any points, Ghyselinck would be the best of the whole race for sure

Fun Facts: Top 5 Lifetime UC Averages
1st ___ Kentaurus ___ 554pts
2nd ___ TMM ___ 462pts
3rd ___ Ollfardh ___ 387.75pts
4th ___ mvhoogdalem ___ 371.25pts
5th ___ Atlantius ___ 360.33pts
Kentaurus who dominated TOTC1 with Phinney and a strong team massed a huge points score in that one event. It is quite a feat and puts him deservedly atop the table.
TMM who dominated TOTC3 could back it up with strong rides in TOTC1 and 2 as well. Consistency across the events earns him a big gap over those behind, even if not as close to Kent as he would like
Ollfardh who dominated TOTC2 has been pretty solid across all his participation, and is the highest placed person from all 4 events. Though not quite as consistent as the two ahead it's solid total
Mvhoogdalem is right behind though. Also taking part in all 4 races he has no stand out performance, just always at the top end of things. Without that dominating race the others have this is a very very good score indeed
Atlantius steals into the Top5, again without a big dominating event. He only took part in 3 events, so is best compared to TMM, but is long way off. Still it's a strong level of consistent scoring in his events that puts more regular players to shame
(simply calculated; divided total UC score by their number of participation to give an average. Designed firstly for interest, and secondly to see who really is good at TOTC because it can be thrown off by differing participation's)
