yes, and maybe psychological
- 15 in total that affect 3D - agility and tactics being the new ones
- several psychological stats for career
- Acceleration applies both in sprints and mountains
- Resistance might be called "strength" in the final game. Functionality similiar to PCM.

Most of the other names are those of real u18 riders as well. I race against most of them A quick search on FB or Pro Cycling Stats will show you who Gustav Basson, Ivan Venter, Jarrod Hattingh, etc, etc is

Development Plan constantly taking shape, here are some of the timeframes for the project:
- Studio website and forum, launch in Q2 2014
- Database and DB-Editor, launch in Q4 2014
- Jersey template and Cyclist-Viewer, launch in Q1 2015
- Kickstarter Campaign to gain release funding, launch in 2015
The DB-editor and Cyclist-viewer should be in the hands of the community within a year if everything works out as planned
The DB-editor is already being used internally to develop the DB.

Nah, I think they plan the AI to make very strange transfers. I saw the transfers of a first test season where Froome joined Christina Watches and Sagan joined Novo Nordisk
Creativity is much more interesting then realism!

Of course, transfers have high priority to ensure that a career is enjoyable for more than 1 season unlike PCM
The AI will also evaluate the perfomance of each rider on its team and decide whether or not the rider is worth keeping, so no more random renewals either
Finally the player will be allowed to buy a rider loose of his contract if he has the necessary cash to do so. It wont be cheap.

Are there plans to include more rider types?
I think it could be helpful if some of them were broken down so you could split them into different secondary focuses as then you could create more well rounded riders than PCM seems capable of.

Short answer yes
talent and rider types are tied together now. Everything sort of blends together, some countries will produce sprinters like Zabel, Freire etc, Others will produce sprinters that do well on cobblestones like Hushovd and some might produce pure sprinters that are weak in most other terrains.
I think its essential to a great scouting mechanic that a wide range of riders are created depending on which country they come from.

I don't know whether this has been asked before, but where does the game stand on dem.files, are you going to include more Countries or will it be the same as PCM |

About the two new stats, tactics and agility, how will they work exactly? I'm guessing agility=bike handling. Will tactics be an AI-only stat, like fighter in PCM, or will it also have an effect on the riders you are controlling in 3D? |

High agility will reduce the frequence of which a rider will fall in 3D. I am toying around with the idea of making it influence career injuries as well but for now it is only planned to work for 3D.
Tactics is mostly for the AI to use when an AI rider has to make a decision. Whether or not it will affect the player in some ways is still to be determined but i think we prefer to let the player make most decisions
Fighter will be reworked completely. AI fighters will attack more frequently while both AI and human controlled riders will be able to exceed their limits more often with a high fighter stat.

Just a random thought, it'd be nice if there'd. be more crashes in sprints, especially a bit after the big trains, with lead-out men falling back and less skilled sprinters taking crazy risks to get on the end of the big trains. Possibly this would be a good point to use a bike handling stat for. Maybe a good stat there could level out a bit worse sprinting stat for some, whereas a top sprinter with bad bike handling could struggle, maybe to keep his lead-outs wheel?
