Does anyone know how technical the descent is? It looks pretty untechnical on the parcours which could help some of the GC guys to not lose time to Nibali.

Descents. Probably the only thing where dope doesn't help you.
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

Martin for the win, Nibali should eat up a bit of time on Horner, but who know what the grandpa will produce.
I am looking forward to how Barta from NetApp will do, i think he can challenge top5 on the good day.

That was a good one.
On the other note, Kreuziger said his legs were really shite and dead tired during the whole weekend (we could see that right?). He hopes it will improve somehow and he will be able to help Roche and Majka, or otherwise he can think about going home earlier.

Hi Guido, just found this remark. I was away, i would not remain silent if i was here. But good to know you have still a place in your heart for me.
And i never said Kreuziger will do anything great on this Vuelta.

Too bad De Gendt is out of the Vuelta, I would've been curious about his result here today, for which he was saving himself. |

De Gendt, that guy who rides for Vacansoleil, than guy who after the Giro last year, became almost as bad of a climber as Alex Rasmussen. |

I'm not sure what you're getting at?
Today's a TT, by the way, and his TT in the Tour was impressive, to say the least. |

That guy who had saddle and knee problems which both have been widely reported by the media, which coupled with a huge lack of equally reported training discipline, leave a perfectly reasonable explaination to anyone willing to open their eyes and ears. |

Some need to remember that De Gendt is a GT rider on the Henao-Nieve-Cataldo level. Not on the Basso-Scarponi level |

I don't consider him a GT rider. Currently, he's more of a TT'er. |

De Gendt is a rider with huge GT potential, but aside from that 1 Giro there's not much results. A guy who has proven to have a strong TT, decent climbing skills and a great third week should have better results than what he currently has.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

In other words, Peter Velits 2.0

Meh I wouldn't compare De Gendt to Velits.
De Gendt has way more talent, I reckon. Btu he's just too weird and he can't bring himself to give 100%. |

You're severely underestimating Velits there. |

I don't think he has huge GT potential, he is a good tester and can climb well from a break but can't match the genuine GT contenders. His Giro placing was a fluke in a weak GT

Yeah, he was U23 world champion for some reason in 2007.
I see similarities between these two. Great TTists, both best usually in third week and both have stand out performance with 2nd and 3rd place in a GT. Just DeGendt is better fighter and Velits is better sprinter.
