Also have similar loading times as with PCM12. Rarely more than 1-2min, even at Paris Roubaix.
Was the same with PCM12 and with 4gb DDR2 Ram only I couldn`t expect much more I guess. |

Yep - 4 is pushing it a bit. I have 64 DDR3 and it still takes 30 seconds or so. Longer than many larger and more graphically intensive games or apps.
It was eleven more than necessary.

64? You can't even use an eighth of that currently?

Am I the only one getting this one quite frequently? I just got it three stages in a row.
I cannot post the image, but the bug is that it doesn't show my riders before the race. Neither in simulation nor 3D. It doesn't happen every time, but a lot.

I think Ian experienced that as well, just go back again and it should appear.

Like cunego59 said, I had it too, just try it again.
PS at what race, maybe it's the race's fault. Was it Mallorca? |

First impression: Is there something else that prevents it, or is everyone's form going to be awful in Grand Tours? Put it as an objective and the form peaks for stage 1 then fades massively

Not necessarily. Pinot's peaking in the middle of the Tour here... It also depends what your other objectives are, I guess.
If it don't work, you can set an objective right behind the Tour, so he'll peak at the start and at the finish

I addressed that here already, including further discussion.
But yeah, it seems like there's an issue with that.

What are the biggest differences/improvements in comparisation with 2012 (I don't give a fuck about graphics really, I'm not gonna buy a new game to see more realistc fans or so)? What are the weak points?
And does it have a race-planner, because I really like that?
I would also like it if the stats were easy to change and if the wind would cause echelons. |

Second post of the thread will help you(amazing presentation Ian )
Best points personally for me:
- Acceleration is really acceleration, which is pretty cool.
- Mountain AI is lots and lots better
- New game interface, to me, it's pretty cool
- AI overall seems a bit better
- New planner is so easy, and amazing(if it works, haven't played a season yet )
- Finance system is way better, with goals having influence on the sponsor money
- Weak points:
- Loading times are a bit long. Will be fixed eventually
- Still Armada, not an amazing new online game-mode
- Stats suck(fixed by editing or DB later on)
- Fake names, but well, fixed by DB
- Planning issue mentioned by Issoisso. Nobody made it to that point yet though, so nobody knows if it's really bad

Screwing over badly designed AI like that to make the game easier is not a positive for most people. It's a very large negative.

A thing I noticed with those planners and I'd like to have checked:
It seems if you select a GT as a personal season goal, the fitness curve peaks roundabout at stage one.
Especially with the Vuelta, the fitness seems to drop significantly even before the race is over.
Is that just me or does someone else spot a possible problem there, namely Cyanide not ensuring that GTs will be handled differently (peak in second week) to all other races?
And for anyone already playing: could you try to verify these impressions?
Either this is planned and is cancelled by something else we can't see or it's going to be a gigantic issue. (EDIT: As in GAME IS ENTIRELY USELESS level of issue)
Can one of the beta testers chime in on this? I can't believe this could go unnoticed so there must be an explanation

Coming across some more bad design choices...
Most notably of these is Custom Team creation (oh god i hate this page)...
Now you can select your jersey before hand, yay! But you cannot filter in any way. While with the jerseys in game now it doesn't take that long to cycle through, with the big community DB's it is going to take for ever to find the jersey you want...
Also they come with a nationality, which i assume dictates your team nationality. But you cannot then add a second nationality or region, nor change region. Currently is not a jersey for each region, which is severely limiting this part of the game.
Also, while it is good to be able to filter Free Riders by the same catagories as in Search, i really miss the ability to quickly switch between Nationalities, which is more of a defining factor than skill when creating a team.
Any addition of mouse clicks to get what you want is a step backwards, and in this instance Cyanide have taken a big step backwards.
Frankly i can complain about this page of the game for ages, as i feel it is really badly designed and that the basic changes to set up have not added anything, and that the overall experience has now worsened...

Well, it's sorted on reputation and then nationality. So it's fairly easy to find your jersey, you can keep the finger on the mouse button after clicking f.e. to the right, it moves very fast after that.
Custom Team screen is one of the best 'screens' of this game I've seen up to now in my opinion
I'm still really positive about this game

Well then what's the problem? If the AI uses the same thing, it doesn't really matter, does it? |

Yes it matters because (again, unless there's something else affecting it) it'll work very badly.
Example:
Tour favorites peak for Tour stage 1. Their form is awful when the mountains come and the Tour de France winner is Peter Velits who's peaking for the Clasica San Sebastian.

And btw, the AI not chasing bug has not been fixed. In several races they won't chase unless you do too, even when you have no favorites in the squad.

Oh yeah like that. I don't know about that though, I'd reserve Velits winning the Tour until I've actually raced it. It doesn't drop spectacularly over the course of the race.
But it's odd, because I have Pinot for the Tour and he seems to peak a little later than the dot that is the Tour (so the start) |

Just a fitness interface display problem that doesn't actually affect form, then?
Hopefully that'll be the norm
