When I came out of the blackout I found myself in the hospital.
Confused and dazed it took me a while to figure that out
and I couldn't remember what had happened for me to be in so much pain.

Eventually a doctor came in to check-up on me and
realized that I had regained most of my consciousness back
so he gave me the rundown of my major medical problems.
I didn't really need to hear them because I was already feeling them
but just so you can also feel my pain, here was my list of injuries:
Broken right leg, broken both arms, broken wrists, and a cracked rib.

I wasn't going to be back on my bike for a long long long while,
everything I had worked so hard for just went right down the drain.

But I wasn't going quit. This was just another obstacle I needed to overcome.
I had finally made my first step into the professional world of cycling,
just to have an unaware driver ram into me during a training camp.

And that's why my story is called "The Comeback."
This leaves me with just a few more things I need to cover
from my the past before my story goes 'live' at the start of season 4.

Like the visitors who came to the hospital to see me a few days later.
