Our team

Stage 1

Zabriskie set the best time 12'35 .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0002_zps6365b0fe.jpg

Then Roche and Zubeldia beat Zabriskie's time by 2 seconds , followed then by Lagutin who finished in 12'30 .

Velits crossed the line and set the best time 12'26 .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0003_zpsb8b80a38.jpg

Sami Sanchez beat Velits' time by 4 seconds and then Brajkovic set the best time : 12'20 .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0005_zps49c75b97.jpg

Gesink came 2nd only 2 seconds behind Brajkovic , 1 second better than Scarponi .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0004_zps2a25f44b.jpg

Surprisingly Michal Kwiatkowski finsihed in the same time with Brajkovic , but their time was beaten by Uran and then by Hesjedal . Movistar's leader Rui Costa was now 1st : 12' 16" . Only 2 riders to go : Kreuziger and Froome .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0006_zps6826b207.jpg

They were both very fast and had the same time : 12'09" . And the organisers announced that Kreuziger is the winner !

Stage 2

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0046_zpsebeff70a.jpg

A 5-man break was formed by : Reto Hollenstein, Maciej Bodnar, Jonas Vangenechten , Stef Clement and Juan José Lobato . Their maximum lead was of 6 minutes , but the peloton had control over the break . Hollenstein did very well on the hills and took the KOM Jersey !

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0007_zps58ee89f5.jpg

The break was easily caught . Entering the last 3 kms Argos was leading the pack for Degenkolb , but it seemed that Orica had the strongest train . Kwiatkowski is trying to get the best wheel .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0008_zpsdc242283.jpg

Goss had a perfect lead-out by Gerrans and Cooke and he was in front with 1km to go . Kwiatkowski was behind Rojas .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0009_zps1a2d189e.jpg

Goss takes the win with a huge margin !

Stage 3

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0047_zps654b8b0b.jpg

Like yesterday a 5-man break was formed early , this time by: Michael Schär, Mikhail Ignatiev, Simon Geschke, Grégory Rast and Hugo Houle . Schar won almost every mountain sprint and took the KOM Jersey from Hollenstein !

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0011_zps68b71098.jpg

On the final climb Brambilla upped the pace so we can get rid off the sprinters . Velits was also well-placed , right at the front of the pack .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0012_zps29989e98.jpg

Kwiatkovski was the only sprinter to survive the climb and Velits will be his lead-out . Pinot tried to attack but he was not very fast on the downhill and he was caught .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0013_zps84b0460a.jpg

Gerrans was in front with 1 km to go , there were many climbers there trying to get some bonification seconds .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0014_zps06d418cd.jpg

And Kwiatkowski was much faster than the others and took his 1st win of the season ! Smile

Stage 4

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0048_zps17bf148a.jpg

This is probably the easiest stage of this year's Tour of Romandie , so we expect a mass sprint . The 4-man break was easily caught and it seems it will end up in a mass sprint.
Kwiatkwoski was well-placed and he was trying to find a place in Orica's or Garmin's train .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0016_zps66e61f94.jpg

He manages to get Degenkolb's wheel . Goss and Farrar have strong lead-outs and they seem to be in control with 1.5 km left .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0017_zpsebcab5a7.jpg

He tried to follow Degenkolb and Goss , but they were to fast on flat sprints . Still a decent result for Kwiatkowski , getting a 3rd place , as Goss gets his 2nd stage win !

Stage 5

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0049_zpsd47bd1ba.jpg

The queen stage of this year's Tour of Romandie - 3 cat 1 climbs ! Shock We have the Yellow Jersey so this will make us an even tougher job ! Wink

A big break was formed early by : Arthur Vichot, Jens Voigt, Andriy Grivko, Xavier Florencio, Cameron Meyer, Warren Barguil, Andrew Talansky, Hugo Houle and Maciej Bodnar .
Bodnar did great on the climbs and took the KOM Jersey !

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0020_zps42c484a5.jpg

The peloton is now on the downhill and it is aproaching the final climb of the day . We managed to close the gap and the break is now only 1 minute in front ! Velits and Kwiatkowski and doing well so far .

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0021_zps96ee0b43.jpg

The peloton is now on the final climb of the day ! We still have Brambilla and Velits in the first group next to Michal ! We are almost catching the break !

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0022_zpscc62ebdc.jpg

After only 3 kms Kwiat is dropped ! Sad Brambilla is waiting for him , but there is not much he can do !

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0023_zps1fb94c2b.jpg

Froome attacks ! Only Sami Sanchez , Hesjedal , Gesink and Kreuziger are able to follow him ! Velits is in the 2nd group with De Gendt , Brajkovic , Scarponi and Tschopp !

i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p495/usuperstar/PCM0024_zpsaf7e29f8.jpg

Froome attacks again and nobody is able to follow him this time ! He easily gets the win !
