@jaxika
Rider aged 29 can develope a little bit (increase phase) while the 32 will be decreasing (as they're in a decrease phase). |

Anyway i think that (maybe not in this start of season) we need a budget especially for renew the contracts. In this way the contracts renewal would imply a strategy as you won't be able to renew with all riders...
I've said this will happen several times
Well, i'm talking about the first season. For the rule Jakab has 80 MO in this season, but if you apply that from now he will start with 78... |

How would a budget relate to his stats?
And i still dont see a problem... yet
Also why was no-one angry when Po-Ding and Gonzalez were created?

@ste_18 It's not the stats we have a problem with (although Zoltan seems a bit overpowered), it's more the fact that such good riders are able to ride for CT teams that got us a bit upset (I think) |

@TMM
Budget is for contract renewal.
@jaxika
I know they start to decrease when they're 34 but in real life their best shape is near 30.

Actually, this is different for some riders. But mostly it's around 32/33 years old. So at around 34 you probably really start seeing it clearly |

Maybe Conti teams should only be able to have custom riders of a certain average. Like the average of the best rider left in the draft. So if I'm correct that's Gerrans and 79 average for a Puncheur. |

TOUGH PEOPLE TOUGH
It happened move on!
If anyone of that quality is at a CT team in season 2 then they will be the sole star, as they will suck a large chunk of any budget just on skill, let alone when results are included.

I'll just voice my support for Manx here as this debate gets crazy.
If something was wrong with the rules you should have reacted a month ago or when the first strong riders appeared saying that such strong riders should only be allowed to got to WT. Now is TOO LATE.
And this is a FANTASY game not a reality simulation. Earlier we have seen the likes of Menchov and Sastre on Geox, and next year we will see a lot of good riders from Katusha in PCT. It might not be realistic but this is a game after all.
Let it go and get on with your lives

I agree with Atlantius. What is the problem? Some riders will always be better than others. I'm looking forward to be in the CT division. |

Before moving on let me say again that 4 CT riders from Argos Shimano (Kittel and Degenkolb) and Europcar (Voeckler and Rolland) were picked on the first 2 rounds of the draft, that were exclusive to WT teams. If they were on CT teams it's because CT teams can have big stars, not both climbing and time trialing, but sprinters, fighters, climbers and puncheurs from top world class can be on CT teams...and are.
At the age of 24 Kittel has SPR 80 and ACC 81 (Daily 1.3.0.0 db). From the custom riders rules he would only have that stats at the age of 33. But remember that he was on a CT team. Degenkolb at 23 has 79/78 SPR/ACC and again on a CT team. Same happens with Rolland and Voeckler.

I can't agree with this, sorry.
I said that I didn't agree with this pretty soon, I wanted a max age of 28.
But now on the subject, I don't think that we must change the decline age now. I mean, I did buy a lot of ppl from age 31-32, since I knew that they only start decreasing when their contracts are finished. I'm not just speaking for myself, I think that there are more people who did this.
So we can't change that. I'm not sure if there is a solution, yes, everyone can remake their rider, but I think that takes too many time, and I'm not sure if people want that either.
So unless there's a good solution, I think we have to live with this.
