Well, I already know his sentence. No sentence and Contador gets pissed and when the Tour get's here he will push Schleck down the road in the double on the Alpe d'Huez. |

Congratulations to Roberto Heras on winning the 2005 Vuelta seven years after retiring.
He is now the Vuelta record holder with 4 wins: 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005

What? They gave him back the (Menchov's) title, then?

Basically he got off on a technicality. More of that when the Schleck decision comes around.

As he claimed at the time : "Lord knows where that truck driver went while transporting the samples".
I guess that magically made EPO appear in his samples, out of thin air.
Now, on a less caustic tone, there are rules for everything, and they should be respected or it will make Justice arbitrary. Some elemental rules have not been respected in this case, so Heras' case doesn't hold.
That being said, as stated above, whatever might have happened to samples, I can't see how EPO would have made its way to them. That plus Heras history don't really plead for his innocence, but that has to do with the truth rather than the legality of a case. Different things. |

Ok... In a few years time, Contador wins the 2010 Tour again. Or not... |

The law system in Spain is incredible. No words really. It must be really corrupt. |

The ridiculousness of the situation is laughable. On the one side you see the biggest lie in the history of sport being punished for his years of cheating, on the other you see Heras, one of the major products of USP's golden age, being re-credited this way...

The renowned Dutch newspaper NRC wrote an article on Rabo's doping practices in the Armstrong/Boogerd/Rasmussen years.
Dutch version:
https://www.nrc.nl...abo-ploeg/
Google-translated version:
https://translate....mp;act=url
Main points from the article:
-NRC was shown a copy of the uncensored USADA report. Leipheimer testified that he bought his epo from Leinders between 2002-2004 and that Leinders took care of his programme.
-Independent NRC research revealed Michael Boogerd, Thomas Dekker, Denis Menchov and Michael Rasmussen as clients from the Austrian dopingdealer Stefan Matschiner. Transfusions were carried out by Humanplasma and Matschiner himself, according to his testifying at Austrian police.
-Boogerd has made several payments to Matschiner, which were for 'vitamins' according to Boogerd. |

Ballan's spleen was removed in emergency operation, which is already quite bad news, however he might loose his kidney as well.
Hopefully he can make it though.
