The favourites who lost time today (on the favourite group) were:

No doubt that Schleck suffered today.
Who the hell still considers Cunego a favourite? After all these years of consecutive failures in GTs, I still can't believe that there's still someone who can consider him a man for the GC.
https://lmgtfy.com...ce+2011+GC
6th isn't that bad
Well it sort of is, if you consider him one of the best riders in the world, who has dedicated some of his best years solely to the purpose of trying to win the TdF, and who hasn't been able to reproduce a result of that magnitude in a GT in the last 5-6 years.
But you're right, I kinda forgot his 6th place last year . Altough he should have learned already he isn't a Grand Tour contender

My thoughts exactly. I see him,in a couple of years, joining Rabobank's elite group of young supertalents that despite being incredibly talented, will never actually win anything in the big stage.
Haha idiot... Even the oldest of the 'golden' generation of talents is only 27 (Thomas Dekker). You talk like they are at their max/end of career already lol. They are still only at the start. But you'll have your mouth shut in the coming years. All it takes is patience for me
Chill out ruben. I was just trying to laugh a little about the situation, because to me it's funny to see such a well ran squad like Rabo produce such great talents, that have yet to prove the expectations created for them to be right.
I hope my prediction is wrong though, cuz I like most of the guys of that golden generation of yours and I pretty much think Rabo development model is an example for other teams, so hold your horses mate.
And if you somehow understood that I implied any of them have reached the peak of their careers, then you misunderstood my words.

Doubt it, today is mostly flat. It's tomorrow we are going have a lot of fun with few very nasty climbs, looking forward to that

Unusually boring day today. Maybe I'll just have another nap. Wake me when Cav wins.

Or crashes
It's either or in this Giro for him and the final hill might spice up things a bit.
You're not watching Tour of Norway ?

Any chance they could drop Cav on that final climb?
I know it'd probably be hard, but the finish would be more even.

I'd say the final 2 kilometers, with all its twists and turns have the potential to spice things up even more!

I'm flipping between the channels. They are having major trouble with the camera. The only one that is working properly is the one showing the finishing line.
Crash? Not even a naked-ninja-gun fight can save this Giro-stage now.

When I said crashes I didn't mean it general Just about Cav
He either wins... or crashes somewhere
Lol at the camera problems in Norway. Will be a nice duel between Petacchi and EBH today though.

Yeah, it's raining pretty heavily now with 13km to go. Might be some excitement.

Goss seems to be in pain at the back. Doesn't look good at all.

You guys should get a job. Rather than watching 200 boring km, you get home so late that you can only watch the finale |

I had an exam this morning. I can justify watching 200km of boring.

Jonas Alstrand won the mass sprint... Well, back to sleepy Giro now.

Hmm, thought I finished my exam just in time to see the final 10kms but when I came home they still had to do 78km, Rather boring...

It was almost more fun reading about changes in Belgian local politics from 1980 to 2000.

Goss is definitely suffering. He's been at the back for a long time.
If Cavendish survives the hill, this will be almost too easy for him.
