Solid start, but I don't like Valls having to work too hard.
Madrazo probably needs a minute today to win, so a tough stage gives him a better chance.

CdC, what the hell? Chasing breakaways in the queen stage of this Tour de France is clearly not our job.

Not cool Cunego, one can only hope he is not feeling good today.

By my estimations, there's no way Velits manages to grab the mountain's jersey.
Anyway, 10 minutes with 2 major climbs to go. They might just make it.

By that logic, Ardila should win the Tour today

The breakaway should make it to the line, meaning most of the riders in the breakaway must fancy a top 10 or better in the overall standings. |

Flip, I will be seriously angry if Henao beats Madrazo this tour.

Epic moments for Milka. Henao in virtual lead it looks
Cunego and Madrazo have to be thankful for Jack Wolfskin for that pace, although I didn't understand it.

What the hell is wrong with the peloton? I mean, yesterday, okay, it was more of a transition stage with the last climb quite far from the finishing line, but today is the queen stage dammit.

The mountains jersey was already gone and now it's the stage win that is gone.
Still could be able to go up in the GC by a couple of places.

I think the problem is the lack of support, Madrazo just has Valls, while Cunego has Perez Sanchez and a couple of others, but no one who really can pull back a break.

To say I'm looking forward to the last part(s) of the stage is an understatement. Pretty sure both Cunego and Madrazo will easily hold off Henao and Kashechkin, but I do wonder how high they'll go after this stage. |

I can't see the favourites getting more than 5 minutes of the deficit back, at the moment. Crazy times. |

And if that turns out to hold up then Pluchkin will lose his spot on the podium to Henao. This is really weird tactics by the leading teams.
