I just thought it was funny when Maxime was saying how they would beat all other 4 teams. Because Portland are hardly better than the rest not bye much. Memphis physicality is very good doing ok v Thunder to nick a game in OKC(leading now aswell and OKC>Houston). Dallas just crushed the Spurs and GSW well ill say no more.
Okay so I am a huge warriors fan to start off so let me break it down for you
Houston v Dallas
You put Howard on dirk and dallas will have to rely on monta Ellis if you're going to pick them again Houston then that is your problem
Houston vs Golden State
Howard kill the Warriors down low in the paint maybe curry takes over in a couple games but no way and that's enough to beat Howard and harden
Houston vs Memphis
Memphis is absolutely no way to counter Houston on the break they are slow down team and the moments that the pace will be pushed Memphis will get killed the reason Memphis has been able to be Oklahoma City is that Oklahoma City have been slowing it down which plays into the Grizzlies hands
By the way most of the points you made after the game tonight or really easy to make in retrospect
maybe hard and hasn't been playing well but Aldridge has been the perfect counter to Dwight Howard also don't forget the Bench struggles by Houstonhonestly if you blame all this series on Howard and hardenthen you are absolutely wrong because there are other supporting players on a basketball team a Chandler Parsons and Jeremy Lin and other guys really haven't shown up for the team Or pick up the slack
Okay so as another Houston native here, Houston is young, with the exception of Howard who is in his prime. The core - Beverly/Parsons/Harden - will get better.
However; Harden is currently a slightly smaller and younger Melo, which is a type of player who will never win in the playoffs. Unless he changes how he plays (which there is time, but doubtful) Houston will simply become a very consistent 3 to 6 seed team that is one and done in most playoff years with maybe a trip or two to the 2nd round.
These black hole players get tons of attention, get called superstars, etc. But until they can do something along with scoring they just aren't very good to have on a team. Which is why Denver got instantly better when Melo left, its why New York will get better (though it may take a year or two since they have nothing right now and no draft picks). Whoever goes after Melo this offseason will simply be doing it to get to the playoffs and then get bounced in the first round (Eastern teams) or will struggle and probably not make the Playoffs (Western teams).
As I've said before, I completely agree with Harden lacking the defensive aspects to become a true elite player.
My point was simply that that doesn't exactly make him "annoying".
maxime, I can see them winning against every opponent except for maybe Golden State.

Thing is you was like they would beat all the rest like you was so sure. And no dude it does not matter weather Memphis are beating OKC why im typing fact is all the other teams can give Houston problems. I could say what if Dirk does to Jnes what Aldridge is doing? All 4 teams are good enough to beat Houston else Houston would not be down 2-0. The west is stacked.
Also alot say Houston are young yet you have D12 and Harden who on reputation are 2 Franchise players. If Houston go out first round D12 will get loadsa flack which is probably unfair but he has to get it done thats what their judged on.
MVP Kevin Durant will probably not even be in the 2nd round the way Memphis is playing he will also get alot of stick no doubt.
29th in the league in free throw shooting isn't exactly a stat you'd like to carry to the playoffs...

Yup Durant and Westbrook are great players and i actually like their team but i cant see these guys ever winning a ring together can you.
I do but only if they have some good players in support
Ex: The Miami heat (Allen, Oden among others)
OKC has: Ibaka (okay that good), and Perkins (who is slower then my 12 year old sister), and no one else really

What a game that was that Daniels was unreal Houston were kinda looky though could have been a loose ball fould but great game. Harden was alot better but poor from 3 again and the Dleague star comes up trumps. think Portland in 6.
Lillard is legit, stuff CP3 Lillard is flying at such a young age will be best PG for next 10 years for me i love the guy.
I will also add i think they done much better on lamarcus D12 was heloing and it made a big difference. This game is the best for me because its end to end and fast transition breaks.
Surprising that Dwight was not in foul trouble guarding LA, but in the end both LA and Harden missed a lot of shots. It was the Lillard show to be honest, and much of that was because Lin (one of the worst defenders in the NBA) was on him.
Glad Daniels was able to come up big for us, a more worthy roster spot than say......Royce White

Woah, didn't have a chance to watch the game tonight, but it definitely sounds like a great game and it's surely going to be interesting round of playoffs.
I have no idea who should I support from Dallas - Spurs duel. Both of the teams are playing some old-style 90's - 00's basketball which I totally love, so I guess I'll just watch it neutrally.

That is a great series flying under the radar. Shame it probably won't get good TV ratings because all everyone wants to see nowadays are the superstars flying up and down the court exchanging baskets.
