Can someone explain to me how the Puskas award works? Ibra's goal was scored in November 2012, wasn't it? It was a nice goal, but I preferred Kasami's vs Crystal Palace.
The World XI is just a joke. Baines definitely deserves to be in there (created a PL high amount of chances, which is ridiculous from left-back). Ramos, Alves, Iniesta and Xavi are all horrific choices. Dortmund having no players is a crime.
I'd even go as far as omitting Messi for Suarez, who's been in absolutely ridiculous form this year. He's scored 23 goals from 16 games I think in the Prem this season, which is amazing considering the depth of teams.

FIFA decided that the Puskas award nominations are between where the previous ended, in this case, November 2012 till November 2013. |

I personally think a Bundesliga player should definitely be the Ballon D'Or winner. It may be because I completely hate spanish teams and thespanish national team but Ronaldo shouldn't get it. Messi and Ronaldo are 'so good' yet they can not carry their team into the final which Robben, Ribery, Lahm and Lewandowski could. Its the same with the National teams, Portugal and Argentina are not very good...

I can't see why Ronaldo desserve the Ballon d'or more than Ribery, who has made a fantastic season. He won 5 trophies, what does he need more to win the Ballon d'or ??? Now it's only a contest of who scored the most, and i don't like that at all. France Football shouldn't have shared his trophy with the Fifa, the new voting system is shit.

It's an award by FIFA and it's pretty much useless. Arsene Wenger, whom I don't really like, was spot on with his commentary a few weeks ago. Anyway, Ronaldo deserves the damn thing for a great season. Wished it would have been Ribery but then again, there were even at Bayern better and more important players. Biggest joke is that neither Schweinsteiger nor Martinez made the FIFA XI.

You seem to forget it's an individual price. Yes, Ribery won more prizes, but he wasn't the best player of the season. If anyone of Bayern should have won it, it should be Lahm or Schweinsteiger. They were massively important and never failed actually. I think they both deserved it more than Ronaldo even.
Edit: Also, Ronaldo, Messi and Ribéry weren't there in the important games. In those games it was mainly Lahm, Schweinsteiger and Robben who where important

I do not hate Spain I hate Spanish Football and the Spanish National team.
I actually really like and support Spanish cycling.

How can you be the best player if you don't make your team win ? It's the spirit of the Ballon d'or that the best man in the best team win it : Cannavaro in 2006, Ronaldinho in 2005, Ronaldo in 2008, it's everytime the same thing, but it stopped in 2010 when the fifa buy the trophy to FF

The reason actually is simple: previously, only journalists could vote. Since 2010, it's captain and manager of the national teams. Which is bs, especially when you see the votes, which I've already seen. I recommend it to anyone. People voting for Pirlo, Touré, Müller... |

Ronaldo would definitely fail in a team with me and 9 clones. Also, by your logic Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Martinez, Alaba, Robben and Neuer were better than Ribery IMO.
Also, was Barcelona the best in 2005? IIRC Liverpool won the CL by beating Milan.

The indivisual awards in Football are not even cared about by quite a few riders because they know its complete bs. Thats why its the same players every year.

Ronaldo (27.99%), Lionel Messi (24.72%), Franck Ribery (23.36%). Don't what's weirder: CR7 only having 3 % on Messi or Ribery coming in third. 
And yeah I agree, they should change the voting system again. Prandelli voting for Pirlo as best player, yeah sure... as if.
Man, I don't know why I even talk about that shit. The show was awfully boring, it was way too long and way too much self-praising. Heck, I care even more about Velo d'Or than about this Ballon d'Or...
