Millar went too hard early on and paid for it. Pity about Martin though, he deserved second place. |

That was definately a great TT to watch, eventhough it was replayed with those sudden jumps that gives...... Shame Martin punctured, wonder how much time he lost on that.

Ah, I only saw the last part of the wheelchange, so I had no clue about how much he actually lost. |

He got a silver medal - so surely rather than 'paying for it' - Millar's tactic worked?

It worked as far as he deserves a medal, what is great. But I am quite sure that Martin would have got silver without the puncture.
But he is still young and I am quite sure he will be 1st or 2nd in the next years, too. |

Starting to watch the race now, after downloading (even though someone has already spoiled the result for me )
According to the brilliant Paul Sherwen, Nicholas Porte has had a great season.
Really, Paul? Tell me more.

Sherwen is stupid. Everybody knows that Richie Roche has had a quite better season. |

You can say a lot about the Australian times, but it did feel quite awesome to wake up and watch the World Championships in cycling. Can't remember the last time that I saw anything exciting on tv in the morning |

When I was very very small I remember F1 on TV at 4 or 5 am......
That's it. I remember there was a horrible team called Pacific-Ford and they were at the Pacific GP. I don't remember anything else.
Yes, that was a long time ago. I can't believe I remember something from when I was so small

You don't when you have to be at the university at 9:20 (right, I admit that I missed it (uni, not the race!) by 20 minutes ) |
