If Kreuziger would have a team like Basso did in the giro, i'm sure Kreuziger could make top 5. |

Come on Guido,sarcasm is nice but everyone saw that Kreuziger was riding alone in mountains in every stage.I realized that Szmyd is in the race at Toumalet,that was first time he was there.
That wasn't team,Liquigas was there on vacation
Go Roman!

Or with dope, because no way he could be better than Menchov Sanchez or VDB...
I also think Nibali can perform a great Vuelta!!! |

in the Spanish newspaper said: (maybe is not so trustable)
Menchov and Arroyo -> Astana
Luis Leon Sanchez -> Rabobank
Cancellara-> BMC
Samuel Sanchez-> Don´t know but out of Euskatel...
https://www.as.com...icic_3/Tes
I think the journalist was just drunk...
Drunk? These rumours aren't the worst I've seen. I think Menchov wants to ride with Team Katusha next year. If Cancellara goes to BMC I kill my self! Don't think Cancellara would go there because that they already have Ballan and Burghardt on the cobblestones.
Back to what happening around Contador. Is there any option that he will ride for Caisse d'Epargne next year? He take Navarro, Blazquez, De La Fuente and Noval with him and the team will be really strong. I think Bjarne Riis are looking if there's possible to sign Roman Kreuziger, Vincenzo Nibali or Ivan Basso. As Guido Mukk said; Riis not signing champions, he creat them. Ofcourse Alberto Contador is a option, but i think the Liquigas-guys is like butter in Bjarnes ears!

Cancellara has a contract

Basso and Nibali have contracts. Kreuziger is possible, but very unlikely.

The problem for caisse is that they don´t have a sponsor confirmed yet, and Contador and friends are not a cheap bunch...
Also Specialized is pushing Contador and Riis, at the end this sport as all of them is moved by the money... |

But maybe Contador goes to Caisse just one year before he moves to the Fernando Alonso-team. He says he really want to ride for a spanish team and Alonso is a good friend. But if you say Caisse don't have enough money it may not be possible.

At this point, signing Contador doesn't even enter Unzué's mind. Right now he's facing the very real possibility that his team is over.
Meaning a ton of very interesting riders suddenly become available.

Actually i think Kreuziger will be as good as VDB or Menchov or Sanchez in some yrs. Don't forget he's only 23. he might not have the talent of Contador or Schleck, but i think that in some yrs, he'll be able to cope with the other 3.
As for Nibali, i totally agree. He's great. I'm hoping to see him ride a great Vuelta, perhaps even win it. |

I love Gerard Vroomen more with each passing day
Finally, Daniel gets the chance his results deserve. It ain't easy being from a small country. It's hard to get noticed and you get little support.
Meanwhile very crappy riders get contracts just because they have friends/relatives on teams, or because certain teams are nationalistic and want riders from specific countries no matter how crappy they may be.
