Tour of Missouri Stage 4 Report
Lovkvist comes in again as top favorite, but after what happen yesterday his confidence is no where to be found. Peraud on the other side of the team bus is surprisingly happy, just 6 seconds away from yellow.
Ackerman makes his first appearance, with nothing to lose he jumps in the morning breakaway.
But it doesn't last long, the peloton brings back Ackerman and a few others but quickly slows down and lets others attack and break free. Ackerman decides against the second attack and drops back to protect Lovkvist.
And here we have the eventual breakaway members lead the peloton by at the most 8 minutes.
As we entered the last third of the race, we order Peraud and Talansky to take control of the front because the pace was simply to slow and dare puncheurs were leaping off the front.
It wasn't long before Peraud was all alone setting the tempo for Lovkvist, with 25-30 riders needing to be caught.
And Peraud was on a mission, group by group he pulled back everyone, expect Eddy Ratti and Rahsaan Bahati. Who happen to get away during the chaos of catching the last breakaway group.
And that is how the road looked like with 10kms to go.
Until ... Lovkvist made his move. With Peraud running on fumes, Lovkvist saw his opportunity.
At the sprint point, Lovkvist takes 3rd and picks up a 2 second bonus. But his mind was on redemption at the finish 7kms away.
At 5kms to go, he was alone up front. The remaining sprinters were starting up trains behind.
The finish was in view ...
And it was all his! Lovkvist lifts up his arms in celebration and shows off his Sweden RR champion jersey. It's just to bad he will be trading it in for the yellow jersey for the last stage tomorrow . He picks up 30 seconds on the peloton plus all the time bonuses.

Interview - Thomas Lovkvist
Q: Great win, how does it feel?
A: A whole lot better than yesterday that is for sure. I would just like to thank my team members, especially Jean and Andrew, for today's victory. And a shout-out to my buddies back in Sweden that want to see a better view of my national champ jersey. Oh, and I can't forget team manager, Mresuperstar, for keeping the faith in me alive after what happen yesterday. Hopefully I will see you guys again tomorrow.

Vuelta a Espana - Week 1 Report

[IMG-l]https://i898.photobucket.com/albums/ac189/Mresuperstar/Other%20Races/Week1.jpg[/IMG-l] | Note: My Vuelta is bugged and won't give out points for the sprint or mountain classification. I don't think it is that much of a big deal since I will be switching the story to PCM11. At the end of the tour I will look through all the results and decide who wins both competitions, for future references. |

Tour of Missouri Stage 5 Report
The last stage of the tour, and also the last stage this year on our home soil, USA. Lovkvist has to hold onto yellow to achieve goal number 4 out of the possible 5 so far this season. But after the strong performance on stage 4, the team is feeling weak today.
Today starts the same as yesturday, with Ackerman jumping in to the breakaway. But it also ends the same with him being pulled back a short while later.
But today he makes a second effort to help Lovkvist out.
He is soon stuck between a rock and a hard place. In between the breakaway and peloton, so was to drop back after trying to catch-up with the breakaway riders for 20kms.
So the chase was on. Team BMC surprisingly helped out Peraud and Talansky in hopes of keeping yellow on Lovkvist back at the end of the day.
Deja vu, with 25kms left riders starting attacking left and right. Peraud is trying the best he can to keep everyone in check.
And soon it was all the top GC riders making their move, but Lovkvist didn't budge. And kept cozy in the peloton keeping all faith in the hands of Peraud.
With 20km to go, Peraud is now in all out capture mode. And over the team radio we get work on the morning breakaway location, 4'20'' ahead. Lovkvist quickly responds back wanting to know the best GC rider in the group ...
It toke a few kilometers to run the numbers, but we came up with AnÃbal Borrajo just 1'43'' back when the day started, but now just 1'37'' after a morning sprint point.
With Peraud out of energy, it was now up to Lovkvist to pull back the remaining 2'30'' to the lead breakway, or at 54 seconds to keep yellow.
The team car goes silent as all we can do is watch Lovkvist fight for his jersey, and our sponsor goal.
Catching them was now out of the question, but is the yellow jersey?
Ian MacGregor takes the win after a long day on the bike taking the 20 bonus seconds, but it won't have an impact on the best GC time on the line will still belong to AnÃbal Borrajo who takes 5th and misses out on the time bonus ... The race now turned over into Lovkvist's legs. We had turned off the stopwatch and just told Lovkvist to ride, and we would see the results on the other side.
And he pulled it off. He hit the line 1'32'' behind the breakaway riders giving him a 5 second advantage over Borrago. Out of excitement Lovkvist gets off his bike and hands to over to our reporter and heads back to the finish line and waits for the rest of the team giving out high-fives and hugs.
Oh, and for an added bonus he also will take home the green jersey.

Q: Can you put this victory in words for me?
A: First, thanks for holding my bike. And the best way I can describe this win is ... well, it can be divide into to parts. Never give up as an individual and the second part is put trust in your team mates. This guys give their heart for me this tour and I can proudly represent them for their great efforts.

A 7th! But only 4 days until PCM 11. Or didnt you day you would wait for the Daily db? Either way times running out, and I personally cant wait to see what you do when switching over to 11 while keeping the team together.

I will be waiting for the pcm.daily DB, but more importantly I will finish out the rest of the season before switching, and I'm getting really close. I just pre-ordered the game just 15 minutes ago, can't wait to check out the new AI.

Please tell me if the AI is fixed when you get it. I can trust you, and if it gets a good word I will buy it.
But you MUST play on the day of the release so I know ASAP.

Well, there is a problem with that. I'm leaving for short vacation to cedar point tomorrow and have pre-loaded the game on my labtop. The hotel I will be staying at has wifi so I should be able to get my activation code, but won't have time to play it for a good amount of time until we start driving back home on Monday. Plus any time I get I will checking to make sure man-game transfers didn't start yet.
As for the story I will post a few more things today, but then I will have to pick it back up next week. And lastly I'm going to try and keep the favourite cyclist contest going, but valverde321 could you possible keep it going if you don't see me online at the time I should be posting the results, just as a back up for me?
Sorry for the long post, just wanted to clear everything up before I leave.

Tour of Britain Stage 1 Report
Our Riders -
This 7 stage tour is made for the sprinters, but it starts off with a short ITT giving Larsson a chance to grab yellow early. But the real challenge will be if he can keep it from sprinters like Edvald Boasson Hagen, Ben Swift, Tomasz Lisowicz, or possibly teammate Andrew Talansky.
Speaking of which, Talansky is the first rider to start the day. The conditions are horrible with heavy rain and strong wind gusts. But Talanksy still puts up a decent time of 11'30'' and is luck to get his ride in early so he can spent the rest of the day in the team bus.
Larsson in his newly designed Swedish ITT National Championship jersey takes to the road.
And he shows why he wears the jersey, setting the new best time at 10'30''.
Bert Grabsch of HTC posed the biggest threat to Larsson today, but he didn't have the speed to backup his claim. Grabsch comes in with the same time as Edvald Boasson Hagen, 18 seconds behind Larsson.

Interview - Gustav Erik Larsson
Q: Great win today, but after looking through the race program before the stage you weren't even on the start-list. Why such the quick change in line-up before the tour?
A: As the season is coming to a end, management did a closer look at the remaining schedule and decided to put me in this tour and replaced me with Lovkvist in the Jayco Herald Sun Tour. I agreed because this race would raise my fitness right before the World ITT Championships, which has always been a dream of mine to win. And I feel this year might be my best chance at it.

Nice win. Larsson dominated, for it being a prologue and all.

@valv321: Yeah a very easy win. But to win the tour is going to be the hard part.

Great win with Larsson and promotion will be tough though you might have to ride more races next season to get to the World Tour |

Vuelta a Espana - Week 2 Report
| Contador holds a firm 1'30'' lead over Samuel Sanchez heading into week 2. But the tables turn when Contador fails to keep pace on stage 9. Sanchez keeps the jersey up until Stage 13 where Contador proves once again he is the best climber in the field. But the following day Sanchez comes right back to make the statement he is the best in the hills. So after 14 stages, Sanchez leads Contador by just 9 seconds. Vincenzo Nibali holds the last spot on the podium, but is 4'20'' back. So the final 7 stages will showcase ... Sanchez Vs. Contador. Hills Vs. Mountains. |

Holy crap, Cardoso's been doping or what, finishing in the top-3 in a mountain top finish.
I don't like Grand Tours simulated on PCM, in the two last weeks, the riders seem to forget to chase the break. Anyway, nice to see the story still going. |

He was been very active throughout the whole tour, and even took a breakaway win during stage 2. I guess Footon would rather make him a breakaway man, rather than a sprinter.
Thanks for coming back and checking up on my story.
EDIT: Oh, he also won Stage 6 as well.

Tour of Britain Stage 2 Report
The first stage of many for the sprinters, and with a 10 second time bonus at the finish, Larsson's days could be number wearing the yellow jersey.
Right from the gun attacks come from every direction. At one point there was a mini peloton up front with 29 riders. Luck for us Team Sky stepped in and helped us reel-in everyone after 25kms.
But it didn't last long, for once we reached the first climb everyone was at it again. But this time Team Sky isn't willing to help. So option number two was to send GC leader Larsson to force the other teams to chase.
And it worked. Larsson was soon back in the peloton with everyone else, and it stayed this way until the sprint checkpoint.
We send Talansky early to make an effort to beat the sprinters there and pick up the top time bonus of 3 seconds.
But this tactic is the first to fail on today's stage. Stephen Cummings wins the sprint ahead of Jack Bobridge and Mart Ojavee.
Now onto the finish ... Larsson gets into a nice train with Talanksy firm on his wheel with 4kms from the finish.
But the sprint starts soon after and Larsson just can't keep pace. With 1km to go Marko Kump leads the way, followed by Cesar Quitero and EBH.
On the line, Edvald Boasson Hagen takes the win and the 10 second time bonus. He moves into 2nd overall, just 8 seconds behind Larsson now.

Q: Another dismal sprint today, have you thought about training else where because right now you haven't shown any strength in bunch sprints all year?
A: It has been a rough year for me, and in the off-season I might consider changing my role. Who knows I might come back as a climber.

Tour of Britain Stage 3 Report
The team will try and keep Larsson in yellow for the third straight day, but after the hard chase put in yesterday, nothing is certain.
Many riders try to break-off the front today looking for a stage win, but more importantly a shot at GC. A few EA-Sony riders try to make the effort but eventually caught out. When the dust settles there are is a large group of 18 riders up front.
And on top of that the wind was blowing today. Creating major splits in the peloton, and hindering our chance to put in a full out chase.
Talansky decides to make a move halfway through the stage just as a wake-up call to the peloton that the pace wasn't were it needed to be.
And sure enough Team Sky takes to the front, which is a huge relief for our riders. But it doesn't last for long ...
So 30kms out, Larsson tries the same tactic as Talansky. The peloton reacts to the move and brings him back ... but are willing to let the breakaway take the stage without a fight. Our team was nothing left in the tank after what happen on stage 2, so Larsson knew his days in yellow were short lived.
With 1km to go the sprint opens up. The peloton is over 4 minutes back.
James Vanlandschoot gets his first win of the season, Hayden Roulston of HTC takes 2nd, and the American Reid Mumford squeezes on the podium.

Q: After a disappointing day for you, we just got word three of your teammates have withdrew from the race as well, any comments?
A: All three of them were pushed to the limits yesterday and again today; and they just don't have anything in the tank this late in season to continue. I respect the efforts they gave over the last few days and we will just have to move on without them for 4 more grueling stages.
