Very good to see Flecha win something big again. He's always good in the classics, but never wins. He's a good guy, very well deserved.
A bit ironic that it happens right away first classic after leaving Rabobank
For tomorrow... well, Kuurne has been Boonens race for the past years. Dont see why tomorrow would be an exception. Maybe lack of strong teammates? (If Devolder wasnt being dropped on purpose)
You've got to say Rabobank got most bad luck though, Stijn. One flat for Tankink and Posthuma, and 3(!) for teamleader Nuyens, who said he felt really strong today. |

3 Is what rabobanks site says, and I guess they know best. One of them was slowly going flat, and he only could change it with Tom Leezer after 10 minutes. (a 'leegloper' I guess you missed that one. |

Well, according to Nuyens himself he did indeed ride flat 3 times. 1 one was on a relatively good time, second was on a bad time but he managed to come back. And 3th one was the 'leegloper'.

Just saw the race. Very nice to see Flecha win something after so many years
And the usual celebration was nice, if not as pompous as it was before. heh.

yeah, they're not using inflatable banners. KBK is losing sponsorship money today, but most importantly they're looking after the safety of the riders.
