STAGE 2 : MONACO - BRIGNOLES
Ignatiev attacks to get a few KOM points and it works!
After many moves this was the leading group with Ignatiev and also Vaugrenard was there
With only 10 km to go the breakaway was caught and the sprint trains are in work
Quick Step is there;on the right side Cervelo makes the pace and behind them our team comes with Steegmans and McEwen
Cervelo is in front now,our team is still behind Hushovd and Haussler,Brutt tries to get a connection to Cervelo
The sprint began already and Hushovd comes out of Haussler´s slipstream.
Steegmans is stronger than McEwen today and has more energy left than the Australian guy.Last km !!
Hushovd has a big advantage.Haussler´s lead out was amazing.Steegmans is fighting for a podium and maybe for the second place.McEwen has no energy left but it seems that he can take the fourth place
Thor Hushovd wins the second stage
And Steegmans takes the second place in a very close final against Haussler.McEwen 4th,Brutt 5th.Cavendish ,Boonen and many other great sprinter lost the connection in the decisive moment
Stage results:
After a bad crash there were two riders who already gave up!!

Ok i´ve just decided to post the 4th stage tomorrow in the morning
But i´ve got one question for you.
I looked at the transfer market and I saw that Contador´s and Boonen´s contract will run out after that season.
What do you think should i try to sign at least one of them?
I really don´t know i´m a bit sceptical.
Please help me with that would be really nice of you.
But now i´ll go to bed i´m so tired and i have to be awake next morning
cause Federer is playing against Tsongamy favorite players
Ok have a nice time.See you tomorrow |

At this forum we don't discuss people "bad english", it's what you say, not how you say it
On-Topic; Consider it yourself Batista, do you you like Contador or Boonen? Do you think they fit in the team? Nationalities, type of riders and the spirit of the team! You now have a very cool "fightingspirit"-team. With a lot of riders who are (postive) sub-top, so becoming 3rd with Karpets in the Tour will be great! Being 3rd with Contador will be dissapoiting... For myself I'am more from the fighting spirit, that's probably why I choose Vacansoleil.
But it's YOUR story!

Yeah Boonen is my favorite rider and Contador my favorite climber but i don´t think that they fit in our team. They would be the best and riders like Karpets would be only a protector of Conta..wouldn´t be so nice.
Maybe you can make some suggestions?Which rider would you like apart from Menchov? |

I think you should keep east-european and italian course. So, I suggest Popovych as main domestique to Denis, Maybe Mandri, Capecchi.

Which Nationalities do you have? A Russian talent like Vorontsov or Klueyev, a upcomming climber like Belguim Kevin Seeldraeyers. For myself i'm a fan of Jurgen Vandenbroeck, trying to get him to Vacansoleil, but wouldn't be that easy

hmm Popovych would be interesting but i have to look if he´s free after this season and i´ve already looked after Menchov but his contract runs out 2010 so i have to wait at least one season. |

STAGE 4 : MONTPELLIER - MONTPELLIER (TTT) (i hate it)
AG2R can´t get a good time but no one expect that from them (16th/+2´11)
Agritubel can beat the time of AG2R by 30 seconds.Good race but they can´t get a top 10 result there (11th/+1´41)
Bbox could be happy about their result! (8th/+1´14)
Fuji came with a bad time and they took the last place today (21st/+2´43)
The most disappointing team today was Liquigas with Kreuziger.Really bad time for them,at least they can beat Fuji by 6 seconds (20th/+2,37)
Francaise Des Jeux (13th/+1´52)
Silence-Lotto (14th/+1´57)
Lampre (15th/+2´09)
Rabobank can beat the time of Bbox (7th/+1´07)
Cervelo comes with Thor Hushovd at the front (9th/+1´15)
Cofidis gets at least a top 10 result (10th/+1´36)
Quick Step (17th/+2´20)
LPR Brakes (18th/+2´26)
Euskatel (19th/+2´32)
Next team was Garmin-Slipstream and they came with an amazing time. They were 18 seconds faster than Rabobank and the new leader of today´s stage
Milram couldn´t beat the time of Garmin. But that´s no surprise (12th/+1´43)
One of the great favorites for the stage win was Columbia but they cannot beat the best time (5th/+58)
Caisse D`Epargne was 3 seconds behind Columbia today (6th/+1´01)
Now our team started and at the first two times we weren´t at the top 5 because we saved our energy for the last 10 km.And as we reached the finish line i couldn´t believe it!!!!We were in front of Garmin by 48 seconds!!!!This was the TTT of my life I was already celebrating our stage win.And after Saxo Bank´s arriving my celebrating was getting louder and louder because we beat them by 21 seconds.Because of my concentration i forgot to take a screenshot of our teamvery stupid isn´t it?
There was only one team on the track....ASTANA
And when they reached the finish line i looked up to the results.I couldn´t believe what the results said.Astana was one second faster than Katusha!!!!
What a race it seems that no one could beat our magic time but then Armstrong,Contador,Klöden,Leipheimer and Popovych came and destroyed my dream to win a TTT
Stage results:
1 Astana Cycling Team 49'18
2 Team Katusha + 1
3 Team Saxo Bank + 22
4 Garmin - Slipstream + 49
5 Team Columbia - HTC + 58
