Who's this Cannondale guy wiping himself at the finish?
And where's Sagan?

Great ride by Gesink aswell, only he should've waited for the sprint and try to follow Sagan, but atleast he dared to try it.
Sagan is the top favorite for the Worlds I think.
Yeah, but Sagan have also been having a progression for many years, and he had a very high level as a young rider too. Guys like Horner and Froome won the biggest races in the world, with almost no memorable achievements
But Sagan is a rare kind. 23 years old, already more wins that an average professionel will ever get, just to mentioned his 22 wins this season

Gesink did a Sagan. Too much in the last lap. The first attack was ok, he should always attack on that long climb.
But the 2nd attack on the flat he should not ahve done. Should've waited for the climb and react to Sagan there (if he could, looked like to be an unbeatable attack to me).
Anyway, Sagan is a beast, he will surely be ready for the worlds. Sagan vs Cancellara there I think, with maybe Nibali added and some others. Actually after today I dare to add Gesink to the list of people who will make the race interesting. He seems to have found the same legs as in Montreal 2010. Back then he won, but in that year Sagan was a lot worse than he is now (and already finished 2nd...)
I know you know it, but 1) their form level is unknown, none is at 100 % 2) a climb is not necessarily a mountain, the best rider on a mountain is not necessarily the best rider on a hill

Congrats!
Your hatred towards Gesink for no apparent reason is amazing. You are not the guy that thought De Gendt is a good GT rider, are you?
It's the tactic he needs to pursue, or else everyone is going to leave the chasing to him.
